What is point of using this if ISP's, the government and your job can still track you? I don't see any instance where someone is going to be tracking my downloads or search history unless it's my companies network admin; in which case I simply wouldn't use the companies network.

What is the point of Incognito mode, /g/?

What is /g/'s opinion on which languages should be studied in order to become a well-rounded programmer?

I already know Python and a few flavors of assembly, but would like to expand my mind a bit and be more versatile. I'm thinking about Haskell, diving into Verilog, or simply studying algorithms. However, I would like some opinions before I buy books and/or courses.

>>60044982
Verilog is piss easy, but you have to have a good general understanding of hardware to really use it properly.

These things apparently open up to reveal WD Red drives, which aren't meme-tier like Black or outright dog shit like Green or a Seagate Barracuda.
The bare drives themselves are something around $300, what the fuck is WD doing?

Let's list and chat about some good programs that have just the right balance of minimalism and flexibility. Programs that don't have any fancy window dressing but are still easy for a non-professional to use.

I like Webm for Bakas. It has just the right amount of flexibility. Not bloated like Any Video Converter and other commercial software, but much simpler than FFmpeg.

True artists only work in frames
>>
>>60044893
I wish it had the ability to set the frame rate too. That's useful for keeping the file size down. There might be a way to set it in the arguments.

ffmpeg input.mp4 output.webm

Wow, It's that easy, now add some options if you want.

Love openSUSE
+Btrfs snapshots, broke something? roll back!
+GUI for everything! It is possible on Linux!
+Rolling release AND stable with Tumbleweed

-snapper kept creating snapshots even when I ran out of SSD space, fixed by setting snapshot limits, include in setup?
-would love to have root ZFS snapshots restore in grub like Btrfs, not possible because licensing?
-is there something like apt-get autoremove?
