they have very nice gui for configs that are distro specific. yast is cool.

Well you can

zypper packages --orphaned

for a list of them, you could probly then pipe that through awk for the package name column and then into another zypper rm --clean-deps. I think I aliased zypper rm to auto add --clean-deps or something, should be the default

from my preconceived ideas it sounds like a comfy server distro like slackware or halfway to gentoo but not really there
