Is it possible to install Windows and set it up inside of a pre-existing installation? I really don't want to go through the hassle of installing all my programs for hours before I have a usable system, but I'd love to just have a VM attached to a hard drive that I can slowly add all the software I need until eventually just booting straight from it.

Is this possible, or would running it virtually fuck up the bootloader or something? What about installing it normally, then accessing it through a VM? Keeping in mind that these are all seperate hard drives on the same system.

I originally just wanted to get all my programs pre-loaded into an ISO image, but setting it up directly would be so much better. Most of the software I use requires extensive setup anyway.

So my great great grandfather Charles William the 3rd just recently died of testicular cancer. Just before his dying breath, he reached into his pocket, coughed, and pulled out a brand new space grey iphone 7. This server him well and he passed it down to me as a treasure to cherish. So after I got the phone I went home and tried to put the new angry birds game on my phone, at which point I realized that there was an Icloud lock screen. So I decided to come to /G/ to see if anyone knows how to unlock the phone. If it matters the phone is ipHone 7 and it looks like the picture. I didn't steal it so please help me unlock my new iphone. Thanks.

The time is nigh,

I have been unironically shilling for Intel since 2010 when I was approached by somebody from Intel whom shall remain unnamed. At first it was easy to shill especially with AMD's FX lineup then the rebranding and the rebranding of rebrands. I got lost in all the commotion and fun, I was finally making the big bucks but I just can't do it anymore. I feel guilty, the insanity is killing me and I just can't hold it in anymore. I just don't get it. I don't know how. How do people buy Poo in Da Loo Ryzen? When you can get a 10 to 18 core Skylake-X from $999 and extend right the way up to $1,999! You'd be absolutely crazy to not pickup an 18 core processor for a MERE $1,999 or $999 for a mega whopping 10 core BEHEMOTH! You just CANT beat it at this price, and you wouldn't want to because boy if you miss out on this your grand kids will be beating you up for missing out on one for the ages.

All memes aside, and objectively, are there any real benefits from installing only from the store? Would this really prevent rot and over time performance degradation?

Also is this the solution to finally free us from being "family tech support"?

Hi /g/, I acquired this bad boy recently. I like it but it doesn't run smoothly (sometimes it will stop working for like 20 seconds at a time). Please tell me, what are some common sense things that you would do to a computer like this to try to make it work better? I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to computers.

Hey guys, I need your help, im thinking about update my gpu, I actually have a I7 with an gtx 750, 8 gb ram 2 tb hdd, well, my pc is slow, I just formated 2 days ago, and some programms stop working, I play wow for 2 years like 14h/day, the slow is possible because the cpu and the gpu is overused?
How can I know if the cpu is overused or not? Because I didn't know if I should buy a 1080 ti or a 1060 and another cpu?

Xfce works good and simple, but I can't fix the screen tearing. It tears on small videos. It tears too much on full screen videos. It still uses GTK2 when GTK3 is superior.

I'm going back to KDE.
