Reddit. Not even once.
Imma make flappy bird clone, rename it (no good features like high score, multiplayer) and whatnot. Just simple game like that. Advertise it all over facebook in indian and russian minecraft facebook groups. What are the chances of it going viral and me becoming millionaire by 20?
do it and see for yourself
The same odds of you getting laid: zero.

It was plagiarized by from Minix which Linus Torvalds rewrote in his own word. Then he name it after himself because his is a wanker.
>>60974818
Stallman started the GNU project and all the work then linux basically rewrote minix and they were combined and now linus gets all the credit also slackware and debian happened pretty early on.
Don't make a new thread, make your simple/short/stupid questions here.
Try to use a search engine 5 minutes before asking.
I have a girlfriend but I still like to do some cyber sex. Is it safe using a fake account on Facebook and Skype or is there any chance that someone could find out my real name/address somehow? Obviously, I'm not opening any files they sent nor give I any real informations about myself.
I'm still worried that they could get my IP address and then real data or so.

it's a heap of shit, Pajeet.
>>60974682
>total shit trackpad
Not OP but the trackpad is actually one of the best things about most Chromebooks. My cheap $150 Chromebook has a trackpad that's nicer to use than trackpads from windows laptops that can cost hundreds of dollars more.
I think it's because Google actually tests and manually calibrates the trackpads in each Chromebook. They're almost as nice to use as the MacBook/Surface trackpads.
>>60974682
>shit OS
pretty subjective.
but you don't have to use Chrome OS on a Chromebook. you can put any other Linux distro on there if you want. Or even Windows. But I don't see why.
>shit screen
depends on which device you get. the HP Chromebook 13 has a pretty nice IPS display. it's not retina or anything but it's pretty alright.
>shit keyboard
objectively wrong. god-tier keyboard.
>shit CPU
again, depends on the device.
also, chrome os doesn't necessarily need a lot of power to run smoothly to begin with.
>total shit trackpad
they're not glass, but they're usually pretty smooth and accurate.
they're not amazing, but they're not terrible.

morning /g/uys
its now been 4 months since I was laid off... been to total of 6 interviews - coding test 5 hours of on-site for all...
"sorry we received more qualified candidates"
Savings dipping to 7k now - I can't ask my family for help.
Why is job hunting suffering
In this case 'more qualified candidates' means some pajeet from india who lied about every single qualification but will work for pennies and is totally obedient since if he steps out of line they'll send him back to india.
Do not be lazy and wait for a comfy salary job. There is more work out there for freelancers then ever before. Pay will suck when you first start, but get better overtime with your reputation. Also looks good on a resume if you have been part of some projects.
>>60974604
>4 months
>6 interviews
I did six interviews in three weeks, not counting second-time interviews. How many do you apply for? Or are you just extremely lazy / picky?

It's just going to be something along the lines of the NES classic. They've done those before, I remember using one almost 15 years ago.

There's a whole fucking board for this shit, and it's not /g/. Fuck right off.
>>60974599
I really want to believe OP but we need to be realistic. Atari simply does not have the money to create something to compete with the current consoles.
This could be some sort of steambox + retro console maybe but I don't think there's much more to it.

>WHY YOU SHOULD AVOID TONYMAC:
http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/
basically: tonymac software uses outdated kexts, clover, methods, patches; they install them in awful legacy locations; they install too many of them; they're closed-source, hide everything from you, mess with local system directories/files, make troubleshooting a nightmare, and don't credit the real devs, they steal kexts to the point where in most beast installs you can get a message telling you to not support tmac in the boot log.
>why macOS instead of linux?
-best of both worlds (proper third party support)
-simpler experience
-compatibility with *nix applications
-developing iOS apps
-Safari
-the built in applications such as automator, wireless diagnostics, amazing screenshot utility, iTunes et cetera
-reasonably secure

Just install other systems on separated hard drives. Clover will ask which system you want to boot to.

TODO:
- Create website.
- Create bug tracker.
- Create mailing list.
WORK PLAN:
1. Browse the links2 source code (you can use Ctags or GNU GLOBAL for tagging functions and files).
2. Open API to future javascript integration (by an independent engine?).
3. Expose API and give (scripting) access to just about everything.
4. Create a scripting engine for every accessed interface (vimscript-like?).
5. Create a switch by profiles for incoming and outgoing connections (uBlock-like).
6. Create profiles generator for user-agent and canvas fingerprint, with manual option for the user-agent.
7. Give control over the DOM, use folders for each site to be manually edited (use a hierarchical structure to cover subsites).
8. Include cache/tmp/cookies/logs options like read only cache and local CDN emulation.
9. Implement a link grabber for every link available to be parsed by the scripting interface.
10. Work with the links2 ncurses interface to support simple tree style options for everything (adblocking and tabs in the future).
11. Implement tabs and add tree style tabs in ncurses.
12. Work in the tree style bookmark management with ncurses.
13. Implement a javascript engine.
14. Work in the framebuffer graphics rendering.
I'll make the logo and mascots

for what purpose
there are far more mature, developed engines
>>60974102
Remember when doing the website no web 2.0 bullshit, just a nice static javascript free web 1.0 website.
Hey, remember when you said Skylake-X will be better than a 7700k in gaming?
Guess that's down the drain.
>>60973936
I'm thinking this is a fake, it has more cores and equal clocks, it can't possible be slower.
