I really needed a CRT monitor for a light gun project last year. It was super hard to find. Back in the day every office dumpster had a 50% chance of containing one. Now I can't even buy one from places like FreeGeek.

>Opus 1.2

Version 1.2 of /g/'s favourite audio codec was recently released by Xiph.org. This version improves the sound quality for both speech and music. Among others, variable bitrate coding was improved for low bitrate music encoding.
Check it out from their demo site:

This thread is for the discussion of NyaaPantsu (pantsu.cat), a free (FOSS) torrent indexer, and other nyaa alternatives.
The aim of this project is to write a fully featured nyaa.se replacement in golang that anyone will be able to deploy locally or remotely.

FAQ
>https://pastebin.com/Gq9MrJN5

Links
>https://pastebin.com/40aFT7CN

>Why is Pantsu down/error 502?
Most likely because the team is deploying changes. Wait for a bit and refresh the page. It should be mostly stable now.

General updates on the site
>Torznab api
>RSS feeds fixed
>Performance issues fixed
>Python uploading script
>Torrent file generation
>Scrapers fixed
>Stats fixed
>More frontend fixes
>Editing and deleting torrents
>Public mod log
>Filesize searching
>Audio captcha
>Language flags like anidex
>Mobile app
>Customizable mascots by URL
>DB clean up

As for the coming weeks
>Improve scrapers to scrape more sites
>Move db dumps to just nginx to prevent any issues/corruption
>Optimize the code
>Anidb integration
>Add in the nyaazi and anidex scapers into the main program
>Focus on stability and speed
>Refactoring, introduce proper testing and code review procedure
>Purge all unnecessary code as well
>Text board

The previous one just sank to abyss at puny 60 posts without generous .si shills keeping it afloat.

I have beginner's level knowledge / experience with html, and css and I'd like to get into web design. More and more I find websites using wordpress, even sites that would have been pure html, css before. Is it better to learn wordpress than raw code? What is the industry standard?
7 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
The only reason you might want to even think about Wordpress is because of writing themes for money.
Otherwise, why put yourself in a niche like that when you could just learn the *really basic shit* that wordpress is technically built on
>>
>>61059861
wix.com

Is it niche though? I find so many corporate / small business sites using wp these days, it just gave me the impression that it was the majority
