What variation of ubuntu should I use?
>>61048358
- Lubuntu if you want it to be very fast and don't care about bells and whistles
- Xubuntu if you want it to be fast while also looking slightly passable in 2017
- Ubuntu MATE if you want something that's based off of what's been the standard for years, and is thus stable as fuck
- Kubuntu if you want bells, whistles and crashes
- Ubuntu GNOME if you want something that will eventually become the standard Ubuntu in a few months
Manjaro is the best version of Ubuntu.

Personally I use classic Ubuntu with Unity as default Desktop Environment. I like the 'modern' touch of that DE, its beauty, and what is also important, that it DOESN'T resemble classic Windows desktop, which I hate from all my heart.
I asked for this
>>61048163
I'm fucking terrified of it.
I have a strange fear of any enhancements much like Archer.
Ghost in the Shell triggers the fuck out of me.
Fuck that shit
Remember back then when you thought minidiscs would catch on? Yeah. Same thing with flying cars and giant robots, something less cool but way more practical will stop all research and funding.

Except augments are the practical thing that came along, pic related

Thanks. That's saving me a lot of money.
And it is working like a charm, better than expected.
Why is nobody discussing this?

Apparently NSA open-sourced some of its tools.

Fair warning to all the Esper holders out there
links to github
1. Espers is a fork of Blackcoin
Check out the first commit on github. I cannot link it because spam filter.
2. Hardly any work at all has been done on your blockchain. What has been done is changes to trivial parameters, names logos etc. Easy enough to verify on github.
3. There is no hint or trace of any website on blockchain in the source or how to achieve it. All you have are dev promises. This dev isn't even active enough according to his own repo to think this will get implemented any time soon. "Coming soon" is probably coming never.
Be careful. You don't have to sell but be aware this is a shitty Pajeet coin do not expect anything besides empty promises.
If you can refute me do so. I got banned from your discord for exposing this info to you. Do with it what you will. I also know some of you have 100% of your assets in this coin. BE WARNED!
>>61047904
Are you shilling your own cryptocurrency? I see no other plausible reason to warn against currency which is explicitly experimental. Are you saying there are people who buy this as an investment? That would be beyond retardation.
>>61048192
I don't have a crypto I've made. People really think this is the next Ethereum on the discord server.
It's not experimental either. It's fucking dead
check the average LOC changes in each commit. Also there's only 67 commits in a fucking year.
>>61048231
What I'm saying is: nobody even remotely sane gives a fuck about some shitty experimental altcoin, why are you even posting about this shit?

ReactOS doesn't use leaked source code.
Why aren't you using Debian Unstable instead of Debian Testing?
Rolling release - fresh packages, just like Gentoo or Arch.
You aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves and do some work occasionally, are you?
OP: "I win!".

Great institutions live on long after their founders are gone.
First the miners came for the RX 480/580's, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not interested in the RX 480/580
Then the miners came for the RX 470/570's, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not interested in the RX 470/570
Then the miners came for the GTX 1070's, and I did not speak out—
Because I wanted a mid tier card like a GTX 1060.
Then the miners came for the GTX 1060's—and there was no way to get a decently priced GPU for 1080p gaming anymore.
Because we don't have enough of these dumbass threads already, no, let's make another one xDDDDD
dumb /v/ kids, fuck off back to your boards.

I occasionally check up on the blog of a guy who's trying to develop a solar MPPT for less than $1/w. Its pretty cool how he can sit so close to that figure by using all kinds of exploits on the ICs, using them in unintended ways to suit more than one purpose
