A friend of mine decided to start lifting with me and one of the first things he asked me was what kind of routine he should do. I said it depends on what kind of body he wants to achieve so I asked him to send me a picture of his goal body.

What the hell kind of routine do boxers even do? Isn't it more all about endurance training? Do they even ever squat? I don't even ...

How many days a week and how many bowls each day can I smoke and still maintain 90% performance at the gym? Do you guys smoke and lift? How manageable is it? Is pre-workout at that point mandatory?

I've had some really good days blazed in the gym, and some really bad ones. I think there's a sweet spot where you're just stoned enough to ignore the inner monologue telling you that you've done a good enough job and can move on/rest. Being a little blazed is god tier for high volume shoulder days.

So are pre-workout supplements just a meme?

What is this? Aren't I supposed to feel "focused?" Some sort of tingling in my face? Maybe a pump? Something?

To be fair, I never really get any stimulation from coffee either. Is it possible that I just have a higher tolerance for stimulants? I have been drinking tea since I've been a child because everyone in my house drank it. Have stimulants been ruined for me?

You are incredibly strong. This is a very impressive lift that few will ever attain. Throw a couple 5's onto a three plate squat and you'll turn heads and look like a god in the gym.

You should be incredibly proud of this squat, and anyone who says otherwise is e-statting or is on some serious gear.

How do people eat oats for breakfast every day and still accomplish anything at all?

I have a home gym and my plates only go from 10, 25, 35, to 50. I know the program says to gradually add weight with every new session but I don't think i'll be able to go from 10 to 25 with in a session. Will increasing the number of reps and time over tension be a substitute to adding more weight.
So for example i'll do a 10lb 3x5 workout set and then the next time do a 10lb 3x10 workout set and then finally increase to 25lbs.
Will this work?
