OK /fit/ help me out with something here
Say you are put in charge of a small number of guys who you know are out of shape and suck at running
Your job is to take them on one of the shittiest, most challenging runs of their short lives
You will be running them through a small downtown area and then possibly out into the country/woods area, in a very mountainous part of the state with lots of big hills
what exercise(s) would you put them through to make them wish they were dead?
yes you can make them stop to do shit like pushups but death by cardio is the goal here

Having sex with someone you care about is nice but it's really pretty overrated and one night stands just feel so empty and degenerate and I find myself thinking "how many other guys has she done this with?".
Sex is overrated guy.
does anyone ever get a bit sad after the gym?
even if i don't feel like going some days i never regret it once im there. i feel good, happy, accomplished. it takes my mind off of all the bad shit or stress that's happening in my life, even for just a little while. then when i come home i just want to lift and work my body again and avoid my problems. i'm not mentally ill, i think it's just the seasonal depression that's got me. the gym is one of my favorite places to be
Post gym is the best feeling.
Rest days make me suicidal.
The gym is probably a power fulfillment fantasy, or the one time you feel in control. Then coming back to reality you remember the shit show life is
>>40956826
It's probably enzymatic. I used to get pretty anxious and angry after cardio, instead of the "zen" place most people feel in. I started using ritalin for cardio and slowly removing the ritalin while increasing the resistance to force myself into getting "addicted" to cardio.
That's however, because I have ADHD. I don't know if you have any other times when you feel sad or is it only after gym. Do you take pre-workouts?
Has /fit/ learned that veganism is the best way to make gains or are you guys still too busy eating/shilling mcdoubles and starting /fat/ generals?

After cumming, how long will it take for no more cum to be in your urethra/pee when you piss?
what do they teach in health class these days? back in the day, we were taught there's a binary switch at the back of your penis, so either piss comes out or cum, but never both.
>>40955998
are you fucking retarded or 13

How should I tackle this?
I'm lifting 4 times a week for half an hour each workout. Should I just deal with the fat for now and focus on getting stronger?
eat 200g protein/ 100g fats per day
try to keep calories under 2500
do compound lifting workout 3x week (fierce 5)
if you want add in a 20 mins of cardio AFTER you lift to speed up weight loss(important that it's after because you will burn the glucose in your blood lifting weights then your post lifting cardio burns fat)
if you want to get in good shape you need to start lifting, simply dieting will just make you smaller and still out of shape.
Read the sticky
>>40955853
Thanks, I was just going leave to compound lifts till I was stronger. I'll incorporate them in though
What percentage of the Earth's population can OHP 185+ lbs?
>>40955733
certainly less than 1%
>>40955733
I use a home gym and do dumbells, I do 40 pound dumbell presses 5x25 and then some because I max out on the last set.
So I might be able to ge that on a one rep or few rep max.
When I did a 120 or so ohp with the weights I have it was pretty easy like pushing air.
Do you guys have a system for naming your plates too? Here are mine:
1.25kg: THE PLATE OF AMBITION
The smallest increment for increating most lifts. Looks so tiny, but represents that *push* to be stronger today than you were yesterday. So humble yet so instrumental, it flows within the Tao of Gains.
2.5kg: THE PLATE OF JOY
And look! Add two 1.25 ambition plates and this is what you get. Symbolosing the subtle mystery and glory of Gains, that they are *cumulative*, which is what it's really all about.
5kg: THE DANGER PLATE
But look out. We all like to record nice even numbers for our lifts. When we can only do 107.5kg, it's soooo tempting to force 110kg before we're ready. But when ego outpaces gains, the form declines, and that is the beginning of all iniquities.
10kg: THE PLATE OF CRUELTY
That halfway point to the next lmao*pl8, and so the toughest part of the journey, when going back would be as hard as going forward. But fear not! Through the pain lies the hidden humble road of further gains.
20kg: THE PLATE OF VYNZBRAH
Yes! From *sixteen* increments of the ambition plates we slam on another of these, building a brick in the edifice of our newer better selves. The joy of this plate comes from the consolidation of all we went through before.
Naturally I use a letter code for recording my lifts. So instead of 137.5kg, I'd write TTCDJA -- two plates of Triumph, a plate of Cruelty, a Danger plate, a plate of Joy and a plate of Ambition.
Then of course there are the special plates:
< 1.25kg: TRAPPY PLATES
I've never tried microplates but will resort to them if my damn OHP keeps plateauing. Since the Triumph plate is already a "T", I'd use a little "t" for trappy plates.
Plates in "lbs": FAG PLATES
Only for use in lesser gyms where I don't have an alternative. Honestly kg is just so much more elegant: "60kg" is rounder and more trustworthy than "135lbs" - though I suppose lmao#pl8 is heavier and more impressive in pound scales.

You fat fucks need to learn how to make new threads by the way.
Who is /fat/ for? Fat members of /fit/ who want to learn how to eat right, lift weights, and lose fat. Here we ask others for advice and give moral support to one another. We all know how hard it first is and we all have to get through it to better ourselves. At the end of the day this is a support general whose goal is to help and motivate the chubby channers who need it. Please be warned that there are some chronic idiots who post in this general giving horrible advice that doesn't work for them or anybody. If you see something that contradicts what the sticky says, ignore it.

Who did their cardio like a good goy today?
Just went on the elliptical for 45 minutes and I have started noticing that my legs hurt a lot more now after my cardio than a month ago. What could be the reason for this soreness? Shouldn't I be getting stronger?
>>40955767
If you're not eating as much, you're not recovering like you once did. It could be a good thing.
What books did /fitlit/ make you decide to pick up?
I went out today and purchased Ride the Tiger, sounded good.
Not /fitlit/ recommendations per se, but I'm reading JK Huysman's La-bas and Ilija Trojanow's The Lamentations of Zeno. Pretty fun so far.
i can't read
I've always read books voraciously. University has certainly slowed my pace down, but I have a few books im currently reading
>Celtic Myths and Legends
>Herodotus "The Histories"
I want to finish Celtic Myths before finals begin, then I can really sit down and enjoy the Landmark Herodotus with all the notes and annotations I could ever desire
I'm also doing audio lecture courses from "The Great Courses" series when I am out running. I just finished Era of the Crusades, and now am on The World of Byzantium, then followed by "Turning points of Islam"
Is (((Scooby)))'s A D V A N C E D workout plan any good for a natty?
http://scoobysworkshop.com/advanced-workout-plan/
If not, why?
>>40955580
it's literally just a brosplit.
>>40955764
Whats the general consensus on brosplits?
Would a natty be better off with a PPLPPLx or something?
>>40955773
long term, i think brosplits are smarters if you're going for a lifetime natty. PPL works 2x of the aesthetic body parts a week, 1x less important stuff. It can be tiring working out 6 days a week. PPLs are mainly for neets imo.
