Since the recent inspo threads here have been shit I am going to be posting some old-school and generally masculine inspo. Feel free to contribute.
I originally came here looking for actual normal fashion advice, but all of you faggots only dress in some weird skintight mall ninja shit and call it "fashion", it's actually funny because in all of the pics you guys are shown to be ultra skinny manlets thinking they're prettier than everyone because your boots costed 1000 USD.
So I propose a normal fashion thread, for normal people who don't want no fancy weird shit.
nobody cares about "normal" clothing here, if we wanted "normal" we'd all just resign to shopping exclusively at the gap and call it a day
this board is about self-expression (or at least it's supposed to be)

This
>>12567469
It's called normcore and I like it too, I understand the want to experiment with styles, but what might be boring and normal for you might be something new for someone else that's just getting into caring about what they wear.
Are Ethan and his carer the most effay Youtube channel? Are fupas still effay?
>>12561189
Wide hips, Tourette's and pandering to 14-year old reddit browsing kids and manchildren is the opposite of effay.

>>12566750
ummm op...
Living in country where getting compliment or comment on your clothes/watch/fragrance from anyone else than close friends is so rare it happens few times in lifetime

How did he think this was a good idea?
What are those boots though?
Why is this cringy trash more expensive than your H&M?
Because it's marketed as a step above Old Navy, so it's priced higher to add to the illusion that is is of higher quality. Same with Banana Republic, which is marketed as a step above Gap.
>>12565878
Huh? H&M is mostly made in Bangladesh and the quality is abysmal. Everything I've purchased from them has fallen apart or warped in some way.
Gap is pretty equivalent to Uniqlo. They both primarily manufacture in Vietnam these days. Gap prices are just a bit higher than Uniqlo but they even out once you apply the 40% off they have every week. You'd be a fool to buy at full prices. I literally bought some tees and they almost look like carbon copies to Uniqlo I bought. Since I'm in Canada without a Uniqlo in my city Gap is a decent choice for basics.
>>12565898
Old Navy is definitely a step below Gap. Maybe it didn't use to be a big step below, but these days they don't even sell 100% cotton tees. After inspecting stuff from both Old Navy/Gap I definitely think Gap is a step above in quality. They even have linen/cotton blends. I will agree that Banana is all luxury marketing and there's no real step above or quality jump.
>>12566171
OP is only thinking about the looks/trendiness of the clothing. In which case, yeah there is absolutely no reason to shop at Gap over H&M because the former is dadcore
I noticed that all I wear is pretty fucking basic a few months ago. Been lurking for ages for inspo, but every single outfit I find intimidating, or I don't know where to start. I grew up in a country where everyone wears whatever and nobody gives a shit about how they look so I didn't really grow up looking at and trying different things. But now I live in the UK and thay doesn't really fly anymore. Always paranoid of looking like a poser.
>>12565355
Buy overpriced tees and shoes, goyim.
>>12565365
not into hype aesthetic (yeezys, supreme etc). idk what I'd call it, but more liberal arts fag who thinks his music is better than everyone and smoke? if ya feel me. best way i can describe the aesthetic.
What kind of pants is this in the 3rd (from left to right) fit, and what kind of jackets is this?
Okay /fa/, so I'm looking for some cowboy boot style shoes, but I don't want actual riding boots. More like ankle boots. Something like pic related.

>now have 10-15+ each of jeans/chinos, jackets/coats/cardigans, hoodies/sweaters, t-shirts/polos, shirts, sneakers/boots etc
>can't work out more than a few basic outfits or really simple things like jacket, t shirt and jeans
help me /fa/
>>12563636
What did you get? Colors and such.
why the fuck do you have 10-15 pairs of things which are easily substitutable?
>15 jeans
>10 t-shirts

What's his secret? He doesn't have model or chad level looks, he is not Zyzz level jacked, he has an asymmetrical face and generally just seems to be just above-average in looks. Has he just mastered street/photoshoot style and never leaves the house looking shabby? Is this simply movie star halo-effect? What is it?
>>12563553
above average? like a 9/10 above average
>>12563553
just know how to dress for your body
that's it
>>12563557
I dunno. High forehead, with an asymmetrical face (eyes are set differently), slightly bent nose and a seemingly weak jaw, he doesn't strike me as the 8-10/10 male. He is obviously on point in his style, hair and fitness though.
