my parents are getting me a suit for christmas and I'm about to go pick one out. I'm a freshman in college and I need it for formal events at school/internships. what is the most versatile suit/shirt/tie combination? is black tie/white shirt/black suit too waitercore? how many ties and shirts do I need? I'm really clueless and would love some advice.

No. The stuff on sale is typically ugly and obviously cheap anyway so if you cop some actual good ones you'll still look good and stand out

I wear non- prescription glasses. I generally don't tell other people they are non- prescription because most think it's a little tryhard, understandably, but I really don't see the difference between that and, say, piercing or other completely non-functional accessory.

Op shops or 2nd hand shops whatever you call them, check your local ones, ones at closest city and everywhere in between. The way to find something good is keep going . If you live in a country with Gumtree or something like that look on the clothing section for people selling something really cheap. I got a pair of airforce ones only slightly dirty which I cleaned for $15. And look om Facebook buy and sell groups.

The soaps I've been using (black rock egyptian musk/dr.bronners unscented) have been leaving my facial skin feeling very dry after taking a shower, I'd like to know what specific soaps don't dry out face/moisturize it. Thanks

I use petroleum jelly but it clogs my pores, coconut oil works but at the same time I'd like a soap that does the job of the coconut oil or at least doesn't make my skin feel like beef jerky
