So I just finished this show for the first time and I am pretty fucked up. I think it's going to be a while before I can decide if I loved or hated it. But there were some things that I am really confused about.

Who killed Kaji? What exactly did he find out? Did he find out that Gendo planned to double cross Selee? Both of their objectives seemed to be exactly the same, combine eva and lillith to get everyone to combine into one being so why did they attack them in the end?
Was Rei a clone of Gendos wife? Why did she go against him at the end? She still went into lillith so I don't see what difference it made?
Did whatever happened bring everyone back to life as well because it looked like Asuka was pretty dead before and suddenly she's whole and alive. Were the other evas clones of 01? How are they making all these evas I thought they were angels or 01 was adam the first angel but then there are a ton that show up at the end and there are implied a bunch more. Where are they coming from? And why are they able to be controlled but the ones that attack nerv aren't?

What a wild ride, Is it worth it to watch the remakes or whatever. I watched the end of evangelion but I heard there is another remaking coming out later on that is going to tell what happens after? Should I wait till that one comes out or just watch what is already out.
