Friend of mine recently went to an asylum in west virginia and took this picture. Back door on the right shows what apears to be humanoid figure. Can someone explain this, and it isn't the door shadow as other images do not show this figure

Trying to find items, object, talismans, and artifacts around the world that help with warding off evil or have a similar metaphysical effect. Kinda looking for various and obscure stuff that you won't find unless you know of what they are called.

Worlds.com is a relic of the Internet from the late 90's and early 00's. It was the first 3D chat client - the predecessor to programs like Second Life and IMVU. While it was massively popular in its beginning, receiving sponsorships from Britney Spears, Coca Cola, David Bowie, and many others, it didn't last long. New 3D chats cropped up and technology advanced. Worlds quickly became outdated. However, a small group of dedicated regulars has kept the chat alive. Mostly.

What's left now is a large collection of interconnected and largely abandoned maps that range from mundane to eerie. There are a number of official worlds, but there is still a vast system of user-created worlds to explore as well.

So why is it on /x/? The labyrinth of largely abandoned and forgotten worlds has a distinctly creepy aura surrounding it, much like any other abandoned place would have. Plus, there are large number of worlds that are downright strange or unsettling simply for their subject matter: bright crimson hallways with people lined up in cages, a carnival of clowns with the backdrop of a blood red sky, a psychedelic trip through an LSD simulator. Your mileage may vary, of course, but there are a number of things worth a look. Give it a shot.

According to the legend, in the 1950s, three boys came across an abandoned house in the woods. When they went inside, they found a hole in the ground filled with water. Two of them went swimming while the third took pictures with his camera. 30 years later, their camera was found by a man who was hiking in the woods. He took it to the police and they had the film developed. This was the final photograph taken with the camera and nobody knows what happened to the boys’ faces. They simply disappeared and their bodies were never found.

To make things short and simple I want to start doing urbexing outside of my immediate area but in order to do that I need other people willing to do it with me or to tell me of spots worth checking out so I'm not bumbling through random buildings like a retard. I'd like to stay in the Midwest or just outside of it (no further west than Illinois, no further west than Pennsylvania). Drop some locations worth checking if you know of any, I know downtown Detroit has some good spots

Can't really explain this very well, but here goes. Sometimes (doesn't matter the situation, as long as it's quiet I can do it anywhere), I imagine my self, my mind, my consciousness and I imagine it being connected to every other living being in the universe, the earth a just a speck of dust in this ever expanding universe and every living being as one, and as soon as I get a strong grip on this envisionment, I can feel something unexplainable, like I'm being lifted up or something. It's an inexplicable feeling. The only thing about it is, is that as soon as I do this and get this feeling- I panic and flinch and I lose it. I ask of you /X/ two things~
1: What is happening when I do this
2: How can I prevent myself from panicking and flinching. Now I know this is a lot to take in but please, I really want help with this. I've been able to do it my whole life but I (like humans do) fear the unknown and flinch out of pure muscle memory from doing it in the past. And please no trolling or people pushing the agendas of their personally held beliefs. Thank you
