So my Girlfriend and I's 1 year anniversary is coming up next weekend.
Going to St Augustine Florida for it. Oldest City in the United States and notably "Most Haunted".
Reserved stay at the oldest Inn in the city which is aldo said to have reported haunts.
And also the big surprise is a a paranormal investigation tour which will take us to the most active haunt sites in the city. Which starts at 8:30pm at night and ends at 2am in the morn.
Along with telling us the history of these places they teach us the know how and give us tools to 'investigate'.
So with giving some details what can I do to increase our odds of coming across something. Or worse yet how to protect ourselves if we do?

>most haunted
Hey St Augustine, Savannah GA says you can go fuck yourself
The legends say, the owner of this house hung herself in that window right there.

Since we may be close to disclosure, I'm calling it right now:
Real aliens wear clothes.
All of you who said I was crazy will see who gets the last laugh
Yeah probably. People didn't start wearing clothes for fashion, they did it because they needed to protect their bodies from the elements. Over generations it became gradually more and more a social thing to wear clothes. It's a reasonable assumption to assume aliens would also need to wear clothes, unless they were robots or made out of rocks or something.
>>19470082
It's also for utility, such as pockets.
I mean, a robot might not need actual clothing but I'd think it would at least have something like a utility belt, or have some signs of internal compartments for holding objects.
>>19470914
God dammit, now whenever I draw robots I want them to be Liefeld-tier with the amount of pouches and utility belts.
Was this shit just made up to control niggers and Jews, or do these gods have actual power?
short answer
1. yes
2. yes because 1 give them power
>>19470028
the have as much power as you give them
Just curious. What do you guys think about think about the Aswang myths from the Philippines? Most of the locals there really believe in it. Many swear to have seen a few. I know it most likely is weird superstition, only wondering because it was a subject me and someone from the Philippines talked about yesterday.. this person was from a small village, and really, REALLY believed in this myth. Claiming to have seen it personally.. So thoughts? Just a dumb old myth, or something more?..
Ignore the typo. :) Smartphone acting stupid.
>>19469960
Similiar myth like Kuyang, Palasik, and Leak exist in Indonesia. I think there are something more about this myth
>>19469960
flipfag, can confirm---not its existence, but the belief and assent in its existence by people from far-flung rural areas.
i personally think there's no such thing, though
Google is predicting aliens for the eclipse....
>>19469948
And i'm predicting you are a faggot.
It's just some gay-ass art meant to be catchy, same as all Google holiday-event doodles.
>inb4 google is predicting the coming of dragons guise.
Fucking retard.

this year the bus drivers didn't go on strike, spooky.
Few years back I ran into a little phantasm. He was mantled in black, but his face was a fine white. He stood in the threshold between two rooms, glaring at me. What strikes me as odd is that I don't remember feeling terribly unnerved having saw him.
Strange part is I can recall my brother just a year or so prior kvetching about seeing something not so different. Worth noting he told us the thing smiled at him, though, while I pretty clearly remember it looking dour and stony.
Any idea what this means? I'm feeling kinda sick typing this. Hope I'm not bringing it back.
reaper? skinwalker?
>>19469842
What the fuck is a skinwalker? I keep hearing that term but don't know what it is.
Skinwalker is just a "shapeshifter" that can't speak English.
Why is a sword shaped like a cross? Was it a coincidence, or did Christianity influence that design? Is there any spiritual meaning to it, wielding a literal cross?
>>19469765
So you wouldn't cut your fucking fingers off. Go to bed OP.
Well I can answer some of this. First of all only a select number of swords are shaped like crosses. Straight bladed swords with a "cross"-gaurd. This was common among Europeans in the olden day's.
To answer your question the cross gaurd is for the practical reason of stopping an enemies blade from reaching your hand. While some guards have their advantages over the crossgaurd it has the advantage of being easy to forge.
I couldnt tell you how it originally came to be but I imagine it went a little something like this.
Smith notices wielders getting fingers sliced the fuck off by an enemy swordsman.
Comes up with the idea that he should put a guard on his swords to prevent fingers getting sliced.
Decides simplest option is to block it with a straight piece of metal.
Someone later probably noticed it took on the shape of a cross or that its made with two crossing pieces of metal so it was dubbed the cross gaurd.
It is possible some swords were made like that to be symbolic but really most swords just have it for the sake of functionality.
just look at that. it adheres to our borders even. Mexico is left out, Canada gets a little taste but is abandoned as it goes so far that even Florida gets some. that's spooky as fuck
Jesus is Lord.
And God said, “Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years, 15 and let them be lights in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth.” And it was so. 16 God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. 17 God set them in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth, 18 to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19 And there was evening, and there was morning—the fourth day.
