If light is made up of photons where does the light I see from the sun in my dream come from? Inside our brain it is dark. Why is time experienced at a different rate? A person observed whilst dreaming appears to dream for no longer than a few minutes, but to the dreamer a lifetime could pass. Are we living inside a dream? When we die here do we wake up with a start in a different reality?

Basically it's all black and white and there's a skeleton zombie guy walking around through hell or something. Ok, for years and years, I have believed that there is some greater organization/s pulling the strings in the world and the lives we live are simply a collection of what they want us all to see, not what actually happens.
But recently.... I've started to ponder the big question... Why? What would be the point? What would drive some larger than life organization to have control of everything? What is the point? It's not human extinction. What's there to rule over when the world is gone by mutually assured destruction/global warming/etc. Shit, by that logic, the organization should be taking larger steps to ensure the continuation of humanity, which is not at all happening.
I honestly do not think there is some all ruling counsel or group. I think the world is literally run by a bunch of little bickering school children trying to get the most marbles. That's the only explanation for why the world is going to shit. The "1%" of the world's population is clueless as to what they want, so they just think they want "more."
If someone more enlightened than I (low bar, trust me) would comment, it would be appreciated.
