what did you do before you slept?

Dreams are often very comfortable places. Your subconscious can be quite the bro when it wants to be but it's usually affected by your overall mood and how deep you manage to sleep. I lost my father a long time ago too but I see him quite often in my dreams. When there, it's like he never died at all. He's the same exact person and I can see him very vividly and we interact as if nothing ever happened. And, yeah, being much younger in dreams is not uncommon at all either.

Being in a deep sleep and dreaming is great escape from reality and the only "virtual reality" that's even worthy of being called such. There are people who lost their sight or limbs in wars or from disease, etc, who report that when they dream, they have perfect sight again or their limbs or back. I personally have been living with behavioral and social disorders my whole life but these issues are completely absent when I dream too.

As far as those dreams where you're being stifled or held back, I feel like these are more indicative of your subconscious translating some very real issue in your life that's troubling you and I think everyone gets these. As a kid I had recurring dreams of invisible forces forcing me to an unwinnable state of doom (Japanese might refer to it as Antlion Hell) and my adult life very much reflects this and other times I've had dreams where my subconscious seemed to be giving me warnings or shame through imagery. Even in the rare times where I accidentally achieve the lucid state, my subconscious would sometimes prevent me from doing things in the same way you mention - taking away my voice, forcing my eyes to shut tight... in one case, even cornering me using invincible zombies made of clay.

TLDR: anything is possible in dreams but your subconscious is a lot smarter than you are and it seems to operate off of a separate and sovereign intelligence which may or may not like you depending on the circumstance.

I wasn't consciously thinking about her. I just suddenly heard SOMETHING that sounded like her but I knew it wasn't her. I think the voice was slightly different in a way that I can't really explain.

Well anon my friend has a dream world similar to yours that he constructed himself.
It has two "main" locations. One being a completely made-up dream world and another being a slightly different version of our childhood hometown. Basically when you dream you try to find some sort of relationship between different places.
For example, you dream you're at the store and there's a doorway you haven't been through.
Try to remember other unknown doorways from other dream locations and imagine a hallway connecting the two.
Be specific and detailed. You want to make sure it comes out correctly.
If successful, the hallway should be there next time you go through either door.

It's kind of complicated but that's my understanding of it.

I don't think Pagan deities if they exist would like the modernization of warfare, so by result they would end up supporting the underdogs who are less technological advanced.

I don't think the Gods favor comes down to specific geographic location. If you were a God would you limit yourself to a set piece of land to look for Humans to get interested in? Doubt it, but maybe this says more about me than it does about a Pagan God. After all I'm just guessing.

The Gods might all stem from the same source and take on different guises to gain the favor of different people.

I think the two most important thing are character and imagination.

A person strong in character will naturally seem to have the favor of the Gods and might attribute his good fortune to them.

Someone with good imagination is free to interpret as they see fit, and might be able to imagine a situation where they are God, or a situation where this deity done this and done that.

There are two ways of looking at this, and both are valid.

The first way says that the gods are personifications of universal forces, and if the religion has one "supreme" god the others are considered aspects of it, generally through the analogy of children. This view says the gods do have power independent of our worship, and that every culture's god of war, for example, is a personification of the universal force that drives humans to bloodlust.

The second view says the gods are extremely complex thought forms, created and maintained by human worship. The term "egregore" describes this phenomenon.

i think it was actually 2 similar planets

they had brownish/bege and green colors, besides the blue, which i guess was water.

the dream was peaceful. i woke up right after seeing these planets in the sky.

i was near my dad in a european cathedral style building which i near have been at and dont recognize(im brazilian)
