Depends if causality is moot or not. If time travel works on causal grounds, time travel would be evident from any point in time due to the nature of causality.

If it were something more like the many worlds interpretation, people like John Titor may have some claim to time travel, although surely they would know that their predictions would ring false (unless they were unaware of their form of time travel).

You are aware that there are nodal points when intersecting a flat *screen* such that there is a 0% chance of detecting a photon in those *points* that intersect the screen. What if you don't use a flat screen though?

What if instead you use an object that occupies exactly only all of the places where there is a 0% chance of detecting a photon. What is that, anon? What is that called, when there is a 0% chance of detecting something with light?

What if instead of using a double slit, you use some other kind of cut out, to get a different interference pattern? I wonder if there is a series of slit patterns and mirrors / reflectors that could envelope a 3d object, such that for photons behind those slit patterns, there is a 0% chance of detecting the object on the other side. What would you call that?

I'd go home to Bangladesh in summers when I was younger, and we would stay on the third floor of the apartment building my grandparents owned.

One day a servant girl brought some snacks to our floor. No one else was around to answer the door at the time so I went. I had no idea who she was, nor did I particularly care. I was just confused why some super happy girl brought us snacks, because it was about two weeks too late for a welcome. But my parents knew a lot of people so I took it without any fuss and left it on a table.

My family came back later and my uncle took a piece. But as he took a bite, my mom slapped it out of his hand and suddenly everyone started freaking out.

Apparently it was food meant to put a curse on us. Which meant someone had it out for my family. My uncle, who's normally big and dopey was infuriated about everything for the next two days.

Obviously that's not evidence of anything, but I was alarmed that my family was so worried about this. My mom had never made any indication of believing in anything like witchcraft before, even my dad was freaked out. Members of the neighborhood were dispatched to find out who the girl with the snacks was, but i was apparently the only one who had ever seen her.

I think one of the cleaning girl servants found something else voodoo-ish on our floor later too, but things like that weren't in my normal vocabulary so I didn't pick up on all the details.

Still hear the tapping every few months or so, no rhyme or reason to it; I've never opened the window and I always get nightmares every time I "hear" (I'm not sure if its just a hallucination brought on by sleep deprivation) the tapping regardless.
