I thought I would inform anyone on /x/ who knows about the old "face of god thread" that something related to it has occurred from 1 month ago. I'm sure you are all familiar with the game garry's mod? Well 3 of these players were joining a cinema server, and they were spamming binary codes into the text chat, and screaming was coming from their mics in the voice chat. Somebody recorded all of it and uploaded the video to youtube, so i'll be sure to post the link here.

Who would the major factions or entities be?
The obvious ones are things like:
Cult of Kek: Meme Magi who use info-contagions and the internet to conduct their practice, supported by the theopotent entity known as Kek. Not quite the good guys, not quite the bad.
Order of Moloch: The deep, dark, pizzagate-conspiracy secret society with a terrifying amount of power and funding behind it. They're less powerful on a Magickal scale but have mundane resources far beyond any other group.
Cicada 3301: Enigmatic cryptologists, Ludomancers, and hackers working towards a goal unknown to even its own operatives, creating and solving sometimes lethal puzzles for themselves and others.
DKMU: A tear-it-all-down group of Chaos Mages that came up with a vampiric sigil that managed to gain its own crude form of sentience. Focusing on stirring the pot and starting shit between everyone else.

- giant ghosts that creep around cities at night. inspired by the Nephilim from the Bible
- the Devil.
- a bit of a sillier idea: a chainsaw that acts like a black hole when turned on. everything in the vicinity is pulled towards it though might be implausible when getting into the details and is a difficult idea to make interesting, esp. for a 3000 draft

Lately I've been hearing someone or something calling my name. The voice is almost always my father's or mother's but couple of times it has been a voice I haven't recognised. The thing is, at the time of hese calls, I've been in public, alone, with headphones on, so there's no way I could have heard them call from a distance, even if they had been there.
In addition to that, I've seen shadows from the corner of my eyes. I'm not sure if these are Shadow People or ghosts, but they haven't interacted with me, unless you count all the twitching and some small involuntary moving my legs and back does when I try to sleep.
Am I going insane or are my ancestors calling me? Does anyone know?

I can't speak for everyone, but my priorities simply are not in the same order as yours. Money is in short supply, but if I need it, I get it. And success to me is obviously different than success to you. And I'm semi-normal in the head.
Most mages, not just on /x/ but in general, have issues. Why that is, who knows.

Question about magic, i'm incredibly interested, however black magic is not very appealing.
I am not of christian belief, however I (this will sound crazy i am aware) have a direct pathway communication-wise with an almighty being, dubbed "God". God obviously being a nick-name because nobody's aloud to know the ones true name.
All of that being said, I can preform simple magic using this direct pathway, which has proven successful too many times to be chanse.
I am not trying to recruit you to join my religon.
all of this being said, any magic I could study that would not disturb my pathway to the almighty being?
