Anons help me with my desktop for I have run out of ideas how to solve my problem. My specs:

Gigabyte 990fxa-ud5
Asus strix 1070
amd fx-9370
16 gigs ram
1 ssd
1 hdd

My particular problem would be the low performance I am getting doing almost everything. I have resetted the pc 2 times in this 3 months and the performance I received were quite similar. For an example while I am playing PUBG / Dota2 or League of legends which would be a trival game for a card like 1070 , fps counter drops to 50-70 in a stutter kind of way. I have seen much , much older and worse builds pull of stable 300 fps on some of the games I play and this frustrates me alot. I have monitored the temperatures and in game and the card is maximum 50 , same goes for the CPU it goes to 70 or 60 max I reckon. I have read that 1070 and 9370 will bottleneck everything regardless of how easy is to run the software , however I've never seen a bottleneck like this. My friend almost has the exact build the only difference being the motherboard and a 4970k instead of my AMD. I do think that the problem might be the CPU but I need to know for sure because last time I thought it was my old 770 and decided the upgrade to 1070 and I was obviously wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure what to do, followed this guide here http://wp.me/PrgSo-b1 for setting up mpc with the splitters and madvr and regardless of the video, it reports it's dropping 4-13 frames a second, sometimes more. I can't really notice any stuttering/jittering/etc., but why is it doing this? Anyone got suggestions on what could be fucking it up? As for where to start, it's probably something in the madvr settings (as opposed to the LAVsplitters/mpc-hc settings) right?

Installed MPC-HC & madVR. LAV filters were included (internal LAV filters).

I have a few questions:

> Quite a few tutorials recommend installing LAV filters separately. Why is that?

> Am I going to be alright if I use the x64 version of the program now in 2017? I've read that for compatibility reasons I should stick to x86 (I plan to use SVP).

/wrs/tists, I wish to quickly and easily record my showering history, i.e. each time I have a shower, I open the app and press a button / check a box, and it records the (((current year))) plus date and time, etc.

I take showers infrequently and I'd like to have a better idea of exactly how infrequently I bathe.

how to set Hexchat as default irc app so that it will open irc:// links? If I click on, say irc://irc.rizon.net/Chihiro nothing happens. Hexchat isn't on the list on left window at all, and on the right as you can see only Chrome is available

ws/r/equesting some people help with this year's internet stats. Just need basic stuff about your ISP and connection, and I'll post the results somewhere in the next few days. I should be getting better data this year as well, so I should hopefully be able to post more stuff later.
