a chromebook is basically a portable internet browser

i don't think you can game on them.

a cheap thinkpad is probably sufficient, but i have only ever used Dell laptops so some other anon will have to give better insight.

Well, I found it myself. It's not glitchy but you can use the process in this video to make a racechange patch (you will put it in your WoW/Data folder):

Ara Fell, it's an rpgmaker game that's actually good. You can also give The Amber Throne a try, as the artistic value of this game is too good overshadowing the bugs, just keep old saves in case of problems.
