Since mkvtoolnix is the reference implementation, I'd be inclined to think the problems with with your WebM conversion software. Does the problem occur if you convert to WebM before you remux? Which way is it out of sync? Audio ahead or video ahead? Are you sure you're not setting a delay with your WebM converter?

Any delays entered previously on mkvmerge should be picked up by your converter. In the mkv format the timecodes are directly adjusted by the delay, so there's no ignoring or missing it...

I made another clip just now. It's 90 seconds and seems in sync at the start but the audio gets behind the video by the end. The audio and subtitles are in sync though.

Could be a framerate issue then. If the input framerate is higher than the output framerate, the video speeds up. Could be a timecode issue. In general both mkvtoolnix and ffmpeg are solid. The usually do exactly as you ask them too... even if that's not what your intentions are.

So... does it happen if you use ffmpeg directly?

It's super hard to diagnose that stuff without files to work with or at least commands...

start here, set something up according to your budget and then ask us for opinions

if you're gaming on it, graphics cards are where you want to put a bit more money if possible.

don't think you can afford an SSD, so just get a decently sized HDD. 1TB at absolute minimum, 2TB shouldn't be too much more expensive.

8GB RAM is about the minimum you need these days.

for a single graphics card, about 500w PSU should be sufficient, maybe even slightly less.

you won't need a CPU cooler, don't get a K-CPU.

make sure the case you choose is the right size for motherboard and graphics card.

let us know how you go with that.

Do you already have peripherals like monitor keyboard etc or do you have nothing?

Have you tried using a restore point? If that doesn't work try some recovery discs, if that doesn't do it then just reinstall the OS. Then again, I'm dumb so you can wait for other competent answers.

Unless you live outside of the united states you can find this stuff in your local comic shop, old romance comics are super cheap.

Do you specifically want gothic romances, old romance comics or romance comics in general are good with you? In comics the art styles back then were more homegenous so if you want similar art you will have to go after the specific artist.

If you just want the best of the best and money is no object, the highest-tier Samsung Galaxy phones will do the trick.

But I prefer LG. So I would personally get an LG G5 if I could.

Really, any of the top of the range LG, Samsung, and HTC devices will offer you similar power/price. Their main differences are some features that most people don't use, the kind of camera on them, and the UI that you have to learn to use.

If budget is a thing, the OnePlus 3 is good value for the power you get in the device.

I have a droid turbo 2 which I think is great. It works perfect for me, until I upgrade next year.

Just go online, to Verizon or at&t or sprint or whatever and compare phones you want. Sometimes you can get a good phone super cheap as a deal.

Downloaded some execution that was legit to detect rat and forum members says its legit so I sandboxed it and it identified the 2 files that got quarantined.
