Not sure how far this thread can go without breaking any of the board's rules, but I can say that if the connection is going through a VPN.. it's going to be tough properly track them because the the server request will be made by a routing IP.

Would Police use this as evidence for their investigation?

No, because you don't have any IP's traceable to said 'guy.' You would need the server logs from these random IPs to prove that. You will probably not be able to get these in almost any case even with PD on your side and a case filed.

I use a iBuffalo Classic USB Gamepad.

It feels identical to the Snes gamepad and is plug and play and everything XP and up and OSX

Works in every emu I have tried as well.
