I recently got a massive boost to my internet connection. To celebrate, I shall download anime.
You guys get anime recommendation threads all the time, so let me change it up.
With respect to the theme, please recommend something that fits one or more of these parameters:
>Has many episodes/seasons
>BD rips
>Movies
>Graphically dense (uses many colors and/or 3D graphics)
Also, please try to follow these guidelines:
>Any genre except Sports
>English subs
>No CoalGirls encodes (that would be too easy, and I heard that their massive filesizes are hard to justify)
>Try to avoid very common suggestions (I think most people have seen Evangelion and Cowboy Bebop; I realize this is highly subjective, so follow this one very loosely)

Anyone have recommendations for healing anime/anime with just a general relaxed, cheerful atmosphere? I've been going through a nasty bout of depression lately and just kind of feeling numb, so I need something to help me out.

When depression was hitting me pretty hard, Tokyo Godfathers helped me quite a bit. Sad story at times but the absurdity of the whole situation made me think more positively about things.

Basically it's about a guy adopting a young girl who is a illegitimate child of his grandfathers, and struggling to cope with being a parent. The ending everyone complains about is only really relevant if you read the manga, the anime series ends well, no worries.
As far as Tokyo Godfathers goes, that's the movie I'm talking about, but it hit home for me. Might be different for you, but I really enjoyed it.

I won't tell you the answers but I'll help out:
Arithmetic is when you add something each time, geometric is when you multiply. So the first sequence in question 2 is geometric because you're multiplying by 2 each time, or x(n) = 3 * 2^(n-1)
Similarly the third sequence is arithmetic because you add -7 each time, so your expression will begin with -7, then you just add whatever brings you to the first term. In this case it's x(n) = -7n + 8
Now you do the rest. Questions 3-5, it's pretty much in the textbook as anon said.

Yeah I don't think it is either, I was looking through the OSTs and there's a similar sounding instrument that sounds like it but that's about it. Otherwise it sounds like the Toonami soundtracks to me but I can't find anything that sounds specifically like that.
