Everything seems fine to me.
Your monitor has a HDMI port, so does your card. Your M.2 SSD is compatible with that board (it says it has an M.2 slot).
That case should be plenty large enough for that gfx card.
1000 watt is plenty (a little bit overkill for a single card, you could get away with 500 - 600w, lean towards 600w for possible expansion in the future).
That CPU is LGA 1150, so is that motherboard, all good there.
Motherboard has DDR3 RAM slots, which is the RAM you got, and supports those clock speeds.
I would also throw in a HDD for storage (downloaded movies/series/game installers), 1 or 2 TB is plenty. You don't want to be downloading shit and storing it on that SSD, it will fill up quick, especially if you're installing all your games on it.
I didn't go into that much detail but from my experience of building 4 PCs on my own (and having 0 problems), seems fine in terms of compatibility.

I also wanted to mention that I would have gone for a 10 series GFX card, the 1080 if you could afford it. Even a 1060 would be better.
Also I didn't mention anything about the network adapter because desu I've always used one of those shitty USB ones, it's always been the norm for me, which is why it never even occurred to me until recently to use one of those that go into the motherboard.
I would also get a less ugly case, but to each their own.

Hey /wsr/, I'm trying to revive an old hard disk (1 TB WD, purchased 6 years ago) but right now it only shows up as uninitialized, unallocated space in the Disk Manager. Attempts to initialize it give an I/O error.
Is it gone or are there tools that can be used to fix it?

Yeah, it's in my second computer right now. I tried formatting and installing a new OS on it but it didn't work.So I plugged it into the second one to see what was up and that's where I am now. The second one is a little old but I don't have a third computer to try it with.

The disk is likely dead. Disks don't last indefinitely, and after six years it's well past its due date. Even if you could get it to work again, it will forever be an unreliable thing that could blow at any minute, so just throw it out and replace it.

I grabbed this image of pro wrestler Finn Balor with the WWE Universal title from WWE.com because they never did put the proper image of Finn with the title up on wwe.com/superstars due to him injuring himself and relinquishing the title.
I've been fucking with this thing in Photoshop CS6 for about 2 hours now, trying to remove the background to get it to look as similar in quality as this image from WWE.com:

Unfortunately, I can't seem to get it right. I'm hoping someone here is a real background removal wizard and can do wonders with this image as it would be a real neat asset for wrestling video game makers/modders.

Not that anon, but there's a thing called lasso tool. Draw are you want, inverse selection, delete. Rinse and repeat for all the small holes inside the outline that need to be transparent.
So, my issue here is that my computer will not power up. I know that the computer is recieving power since it is powering up my keyboard but it is not powering the motherboard. After troubleshooting for hours, I've narrowed it down to it being the power button on the front of the computer not being connected to the motherboard. After trying for an hour to look for somewhere else to plug it into on the motherboard, it still is not working. I've unplugged it from the motherboard completely and tried plugging it into the spot it was originally in yet it still won't turn on. Any help at all would be very useful, thanks

Other than gaming is it important to build your own PC? I use a Mac and everything I've been doing on it has worked fine so I guess that transitioning to a PC would be fine, the only new thing will be that I want to learn programming. Will building a PC be necessary?

It's not even important for gaming; you just save money because you can pirate Windows.
Build (or spec) your own PC if you have specific requirements that a generic PC won't fulfil. You don't have such requirements, so absolutely any PC will do you, and in fact you already have a suitable PC, it just says "mac" on it.
Unless you're determined you need to learn Visual Studio, your Mac already does everything you need.
If you absolutely need to use Windows, just put Windows on your mac. Windows 10 is ~$100, and Bootcamp makes installing a genuine Windows as simple as clicking "next" a few times.
Unless the computer you've got is from the Stone Age, there's no need whatsoever to replace it. Even ancient MacBooks make perfectly acceptable development machines if you max the RAM and put an SSD in.

Thanks I might use bootcamp. But now I'm wondering because there were small good reasons for me to switch to windows. Would this installation make my mac completely like a windows? As in, keyboards compatible with windows would work completely? I have a Corsair keyboard that has a bunch of features but on my mac it's just a keyboard with red lighting. Would using windows on the mac allow me to access those features? If you don't know on the spot don't bother looking it up it's not a big deal.

I'm trying to identify video game dragons for a contest but I don't know most of them. Here's the descriptions, I'd appreciate some help figuring them out.
1) This red dragon is found with his tail stuck in a mountain top. The evil creatures inside the mountain are tormenting this dragon by attacking said tail.
2) This albino dragon was born without scales or sight. He is immortal due to an item he pillaged when he betrayed his kin.
3) This orange, four-headed dragon is revered as a guardian of the inhospitable planet it lives on. It is also responsible for setting into motion the events of the game.
4) This golden metal dragon fights tanks and robots, but is controlled by the player and doesn't have much in the way of personality.
5) A small purple dragon with long horns and small wing who is a hero in the games he is in.
6) This dragon is said to be the being that will destroy the world. Awakened by a king, and given a crown to increase his power, he matures quickly over the course of the game, and is fought several times.
7) A female black dragon who was killed by the player. Her head was mounted in a major city until it was stolen by her father so that her brother could bring her back as an undead dragon.
8) This yellow and red dragon is brainwashed by the main villain. He shoots puffs of fire behind him, but ironically doesn't breathe on you.
9) This dragon was tricked into servitude by a space-faring empire, but has the ability to create stars. He seeks his freedom from his servitude by any means.
10) This dragon, despite being immortal, shows signs of great age and can be a mentor to the player. He turned against his brother to overthrow the rule of dragons over men.
The ones I'm pretty sure about are 1 (Valoo), 5 (Spyro), 9 (Aurelion Sol) and 10 (Paarthurnax). Some of the others sound familiar but I'm drawing a blank.

I can vouch for most of the movies in the above post as well. Sword of the Stranger is particularly notable for the fact that it has one of the best animated fight scenes in anime history.

Once in awhile a very surreal, animated music video is posted in you groove you lose threads, etc. It depicts a man walking along a planet as stone faces crash down onto the surface around him, spreading some sort of infection. He eventually reaches some sort of control center and he transforms, flying up into space to fight the ship/object responsible for the infection faces. Very cool but it doesn't leave me with a lot to go off of. I've failed with google, hopefully someone here knows what I'm talking about. Pic unrelated.
