I've had this AMV on an old PC that I can't seem to find anywhere.
If it is of any help, the AMV was with a song in russian that starts with a violin, the whole thing was about war, destruction and the like. I am sure there was more than one anime in the AMV but there was a scene that stood out. Also this anime has to be from at least 2006-2007 because that's around when I saw it.
What I recall:
Quadruple laser cannons firing of some coast
Several fighter aircraft/drones being launched from underwater (in a vertical launch system fashion)
Same aircraft flew straight up and changed movement at a steep angle and started attacking something in the water.
Then, out of the place that was attacked, water started raising up outward from the center to form these huge water blades that would cut those airplanes clean in half.
All the google searches in the world couldn't help me find this.

Trying to troubleshoot a PC problem, could use some help. Basically, whenever I first turn on my computer (or wake it from sleep), the monitor will flicker when opening/closing programs, and also during scrolling. The problem goes away after about 5-10 minutes. Once gone, it will immediately come back if I restart my PC.
The PC performs great in gaming, and has maxed out the firestrike benchmark, so I'm not sure if the GPU is faulty.
Things I've tried:
-Different Display port port from graphics card
-Different Display port cable
-Rebooting computer
-Rebooting monitor
-Reinstalling Nvidia drivers
Any idea what's causing this?

This might be a problem with the GPU's idle states. Open your driver (or nNvidia Inspector) and change performance mode to single display performance mode. If that doesn't help, change power mode to full power.
You can also try having GPU-Z monitor tab open while you open any application to check what happens there, it might give you a hint.

I'm using MPC HC with CCCP and sometimes pic related happens, not with all anime but with more than one. In addition, sometimes words beginning with 'J' are shortened to remove the space before them.
I've reinstalled multiple times, both CCCP and MPC HC but the problem doesn't go away. Any advice?

Just tried that, no dice. It's so infuriating because apart from that the subtitles and codec pack works fine.
I've tried using multiple different settings for subtitles, both internal and external. Is there any possibility something other than the codec or subtitle engine is corrupting or misreading the subtitles?

Well I don't recommend using CCCP. What I use is MadVR + XY-subfilter.
One thing you should be aware of is that MPC-HC's default subtitle renderer is pretty garbage. If you use MadVR it's recommended that you switch to XY-subfilter or XY-VSfilter because they are subtitle renderers designed to work with MadVR.
Just make sure your subtitle renderer is set to whichever filter you install.

I bet that this thread gets a lot of this bullshit, so sorry in advance. I'm looking for a new computer for college, something that a very efficient processing system and that shit. I'm hoping to find a laptop with 8gb RAM, somewhere from 128gb to 256 in storage, a battery life of over 8 hours, 13.3 in to 15.6, somewhere around 2.5 ghz, hopefully for as high and cheap as possible, and 1080p. I'm looking for the price to he up to 800 dollars, and I think that sounds cheap for a laptop, but I don't know that much.
Any suggestions? Again, sorry for this thread, I'm sure that it happens here all the time

Can anyone recommend me an anime where people actually die (not kick someone's ass and leave it like that, like in one piece. Shit makes no sense. You kill your enemy, dont punch him couple times and leave him be), have sex, have adult relationships, have flaws (the characters are not black and white but gray), where the characters are actually cool and dont be like all shy and stuff and in the grand finale gets a kiss on the cheek and they live together happily ever after.
Please dont judge me. Some people might like that stuff, I just cannot relate to it. "Aaaaaaah x kun is kawaaaaiiiiiiiii" (and he turns all red etc).
LOVED One Punch Man, Spirited Away, Howls Moving Castle, Liked Neon Genesis Evangelion, Totoro, Grave of the Fireflies. Hated One Piece as I grew older. Havent been watching for a few months. Couldnt bear through.

So I have a CyberpowerPC Desktop and I think it's okay, but I would like a few decent upgrades. I would like to use AMD as it's the graphics driver and processor I'm already using.
Would any computer experts recommend an R7 300?
I am working in a $200 price range per item, and I'm thinking about a graphics card or a processor.
