Hello /wsr/, can you suggest me a terrifying horror movie? I am not talking about those jumpscare-based, I want something that scares the shit out of me
Pretty much everyone says that The Thing (the original) is the best horror movie. Haven't seen it myself, but I know that it isn't a jumpscare movie.
That depends a lot on your personal Phobias. I know people who lost their shit about the Thing, but to me it was just entertaining as fuck, but not scary.
In turn, I loose my shit at relatively harmless underwater horror movies because that happens to be my phobia.

If you can name a few thigns you really don't like, then I'm sure we will find something for you.
What you find creepy pretty much determines this. Check out the 70s Invasion of the Body Snatchers with Donald Sutherland.
What's a good anime for a 3-4 year old boy? I haven't watched really anything of the anime for the very young so I have no idea. Preferably it would be very mild for violent or scary content as my son is a bit sensitive to that.
Studio ghibli films are always relevant.

Yeah he likes Totoro but the others are a bit intense aren't they?

Ponyo and Kiki's Delivery Service should be okay.
So, I built this desktop computer, mostly out of used but working components (on a serious poorfag-tier budget here) except the power supply which is new. The hard drive is out of a laptop I've had for a while and doesn't quite do the job anymore.
The system runs fine except for one issue: Any time after it's been powered off (even for just a couple minutes), I'll have to mess with the hard drive's power connector at least once before turning it back on or else it'll either repeatedly power cycle itself every couple seconds, or it'll hang on the bios. After fiddling with the connector and getting it to turn on and boot properly, it'll be just fine until the next time it's powered off.
Any ideas what might cause it to act this way? I've tried multiple power connectors, and they don't seem to be loose. I made sure the connector on the hard drive is clean, and I've also tried with another hard drive connected instead of this one and it didn't have this issue.
Pic related, this is where it hangs on the bios, before it even gets to the drive detection.

YOUR DRIVE'S POWER CONNECTOR IS BROKEN.
>>185675
You sure about that?
>it'll be just fine until the next time it's powered off
For further clarification, the drive does work. It's the only one being used in this machine right now. I should add that I've moved the power cable and even the drive itself around while it was on (and while already booted into windows) with no negative reaction.

Is there a BIOS update available?
I don't think it's your drive that's the fault. You can turn a pc on without a drive and the BIOS will work away until it requires an OS and then it will report that it can't find an OS and ask you to install a system disk. Having a intermittently dead drive won't affect that process. Does it ever say it can't find an OS?
Anyone knows where i can get spotify premium for free?
I'm looking for android and the patched i have keeps crashing.

If you want to stream music without paying for it just download what you like and upload it to Google Music. They allow 50000 songs I think. Then you can stream your stolen music everywhere for free. Alternatively just use Apple music, they give you 3 months for free then you can try Tidal, which gives 1 month. Keep in mind though that stealing music makes you a bad person. Good luck!

Thanks, mate. I'll try to freeload on free trials as much as i can.
Then i guess i'll see and try to be a good person

Don't listen to anybody else's opinion. Comic Rack is what you need. I've been using it for years. You can also change your page flipping direction!

Manga Rock is decent if you buy it. Free version has ads and allows for downloading only a single manga.
Need a good (preferably short) anime. Any recommendations?

Im in to anything, so long as its not based around hentai, Yuri, ect. Particularly something action-y, but if its good (like, say, spice and wolf) I wont mind.
I'm pretty sure its from the Lord of the Rings ost and it starts at about 5:17 in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HHoJSgq6mqc
Description says nothing and I didn't find anything in the comments.

how do I enter the value of x in an online test when the solution set is infinite?

That could be construed as cheating. I don't cheat.

Well your question actually has nothing to do with the math itself and everything to do with the submission form, so without that information you're probably out of luck asking for help.
It is locked in as solid blue and I can't seem to change it

Control panel>change theme
And it should be next to your wallpaper setting. "Color".

good animes please? haven't watched anything since 2011 and came back to watch Yu Yu Hukashu and liked it a lot. I don't visit 4chan often, this is my 2nd post in 6 years.
What types of shows do you like? Just saying "good anime pls" is bound to get you shows you won't like.
Since you're an entry-level shounenfag you should watch the basics. Don't get memed by /a/, they're good entry level stuff, but /a/ hates everything popular. I'm just going to assume you haven't seen anything at all since YYH was new to you.
>Gurren Lagann
>Kill la Kill
>One Punch Man
>Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (jury's out on whether this or the original series is better, but most seem to think Brotherhood)
>Samurai Champloo
>Cowboy Bebop
MOST of these are a very manageable ~26 episodes long, although FMA: Brotherhood is 64, so maybe figure out if you're going to enjoy that one early and drop it if it's not your thing.
>>185522
Well, if nothing else, you would probably enjoy Hunter x Hunter (2011). The story is written by the mangaka of Yu Yu Hakusho, so it'll be similar in style and such and you will most likely also like it.
Besides that though, I'll just list these and maybe you'll like them:
Cowboy Bebop
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex S1 + S2 + Solid State Society
Hibike Euphonium
The Cat Returns
Neon Genesis Evangelion + End of Evangelion
Perfect Blue
Ping Pong
Steins;Gate
The Tatami Galaxy
Also, everything recommended by >>185577 are all fantastic action anime that are quite entertaining. So, definitely give those a try if that's what you were looking for.
After many years of not watching anime, I saw this and it restored my love of the medium. I asked /a/ for recommendations on "anime about time travel" and they told me "Madoka, and go to /wsr/"
So I watched Madoka (enjoyed it) and came here. Got anything else for me that's high quality anime about time travel?
I'm a complete outsider to anime so aside from the two I named and Disappearance of Haruhi, if you name a (time travel) show it's almost certain I have not seen it.
>>185494
Ask on /a/, they'll hate you but it's more likely to get a real reply there than here, this board is dead
>>185494
The Girl Who Leapt Through Time
>>185503
Thanks, I'll put it at the top of my list.
>>185502
Well I figure it can't hurt. Already got one recommendation. I mean worst case I either get nothing, or someone recommends something pretty awful.
I admit I was a little doubtful that Madoka had anything to do with time travel until near the end, but I stuck with it and it was great
