There are 38 new Pokemon known so far including evolution lines and the other guardians. 25 of which have been officially revealed. It's looking like Alola will have at least 100 which is fine, but remember that Kalos only had around 70 and 48 of them were revealed before the release of XY. Anythings possible

Fucking casuls. 7th gen confirmed for phone-game tier difficulty.
Given there are already many people with good teams who fight over gyms, I think the time has come to discuss the competitive metagame.
Take a look at this screenshot for example. Most people would prefer hydro pump to aquatail due to higher base attack. However, as you can see, hydro pump is slower and thus has a lower DPS.
Is it me or is aqua tail really the better choice?
