Made my own ROM of Fire Red randomized it and started a run before I fell asleep last night.

Lost two shitmons and a bro, R.I.P. Seabear.
Currently about to head into Diglett Cave.

Fairybear (Clefairy) was my starter.
Choices were Whismur, Cleffa, and Lotad.

My favorite type is Dark and wrecking all of them with Fairybear is cathartic.

people would have to remember the typings and stuff.

Switching physical and special with a room is the last possible thing I could imagine.
However this would fuck up every moveset and probably would change the meta quite a lot. So... Not gonna happen too.

Did you use the card the same turn you put the Electrike?

Did you use Evosoda in the same turn as you placed your basic Pokemon? I've done that before. It specifically says at the bottom that you can't use this card during your first turn or on a Pokemon that was put into play this turn.

The supporter card Wally does the same thing but you can evolve it on the same turn as it was placed.
