And not 1 was a unique typing. One of 'em could have at least been fire/fairy or ice/fairy, like holy fuck, why does GF always stick to the same typings? It's not that fucking hard. They made a horse on fire and that's fire type. Just put fire on something else and it'll be fire type. Do some kind of chilli pepper pokemon. Grass/Fire. Easy. Or just had alolan oddish 420 it, Grass/Fire. Easy.
We have a fucking anchor pokemon. How much you wanna bet it's water/ghost? Jellicent is an interesting concept and design and it's water/ghost. Great. How about gen 7? How about a haunted anchor that's literally my mom's anchor? Like, fuck. If they're just gonna put out pokemon like that with obviously forced typings then why not have one of the examples I mentioned above?
Bug/Dragon - Literally my mom's dragonfly
Fighting/Ghost - Haunted boxing gloves/a dead boxer with 'a strong spirit'.
Ice/Fairy - Some kind of snowflake pixie thing based on eskimos
Poison/Steel - A venomous animal with armour
When they're gonna spit out shit like haunted anchors, why the fuck not have shit like above? Literally putting random shit together and assigning them unique types. Instead we get 3 more grass/fairy types and 2 more water/fairy types.
At least there are some new typings.

I've been wondering about something. In the battle intros video there were the regular trainer battle intro with orange background for both single and double battles.
And right after it there are blue backgrounds for both singles and doubles and it seems it a regular battle intro.
What is it for then?
It cant be Sun/Moon exclusve because the Japanese stream was Moon version and it had orange backgrounds
Its not Battle Tree because Cynthia, Wally, Red and Blue have regular Orange ones
So what is it for?
Maybe day/night change? But the light blue hardly gives night vibe. Did anyone play the demo at night to confirm that?

The blue background is used for one of the Hau, Gladion, and Kuikui too.
I would say it's the battle tree, but they get the orange background too.

Hidden Ability: Magic Guard
HP: 75
Atk: 55
Def: 80
SpA: 112
Spd: 90
Spe: 113
BST: 515 (+15)
Neutering its basically useless attack stat felt necessary and this Ninetales does look less like its inclined towards physical attacks but slightly fluffier so marginally buffed in physical defense.
I anticipate a minor stat boost to alolan formes so I've been conservative at +15 BST.
Though I love its typing and design I admit the Fairy subtype is kind of arbitrary. Anyhow this looks like it could be fast and a good special attacker. Could we have an actually effective Ice type here, akin to a special based Weavile but not quite so fast?

Snowbelle, it and its theme are one of the few things I really liked about Kalos. And I always try to remember to bring it up as a positive when talking about it.
Snowpoint and the routes leading up to it are also amazing, despite some people getting annoyed by the slowdown.
