No, it's standard Normal in GSC. Snorlax is Uber in all but name, Miltank and Blissey are excellent walls/supporters, Porygon2 can be a secondary Curse sweeper, Smeargle is always useful and Girafarig makes sure Fighting-types don't shit all over the team.

Wishful thinking. I also prefer the levels to increase as opposed to the number of pokémon. At least the early battles won't be over in two turns. Every E4 should have 5 pokémon at least, anything else is a disgrace. Looking at you gen V and VI.

Hawlucha - speed - specializes in aerials and command grabs

Deoxys - technique - changes formes mid-fight as a gimmick, Defense is resistant to flinching/basically has super armor and takes less damage but doesn't deal a lot, attack takes way more damage but hits like a truck, speed can tech out of combos and escape certain moves more easily, normal is a balance between them. Maybe have some moves exclusive to each forme.

I've always wanted a tag battle. I know the trailer showed a 3 v 3 kind of thing but what I was thinking is switching in between two characters/players mid-fight and maybe doing combos if you are successful enough to fill a combo bar or something.

I really like to see Conkeldurr utilizing his pillars well into battle, using them not just as weapons and as guards but also to litter the field with stealth-rock-like traps and maybe for long-range harassment. Conk will be super slow but his projectile would deal incredibly massive damage.

It should have a much more robust single player and a better practice mode first and foremost. Character-centric campaigns ala Soul Calibur and minigames would be a good start. They should also try creating actual memorable human characters, both when it comes to writing and design. Hire Sugimori or one of his imitators to do the concept arts, Pokken's style is extremely forgettble.

I'd be glad if the sequel's roster had at least 35 playable characters. Hopefully at least one of my favorites finally makes it in, but I'm not holding my breath.

TL;DR give the game an actual fucking budget
