even two 1080ti's in sli barely graduated as "somewhat 4k capable"
and then there's 240hz displays that recently came out. Even the fastest single thread cpu @ 5.3 struggles to prepare that many frames for gpu in many modern games

When will people finally just accept that modern Persona hinges on being a highschool sim for the lifesim aspects and that doing a game like IS focused on an adult cast is off the table unless they also randomly decide to set it in another country - which would be a terrible business decision - and then go further and completely redesign the dating and social aspects?

A sequel to Ghouls n Ghosts and Gargoyle's Quest. Arthur and Firebrand both have separate campaigns, each playing just like the older entries. They happen parallel to each other, but every now and then you face the other character as a boss. Beat both stories to unlock the real final stage where you freely swap between them.

Why does /v/ never talk about this title?
It's so cheap and fun! You make money off of the boxes too and all cosmetics are fair.
Again, is it because /v/ doesn't believe in hard games? Do they not understand how to aim?

Good videogames always blend a variety of elements, some more prominent than others. The important thing is that the mix is just right enough that it works for that game in particular.

What I would consider the ideal in video game design is mechanics so thematic that they're essentially inseparable from "story" as they're a significant or even primary vehicle for worldbuilding. Moreover, I certainly don't play any games because I like pushing buttons but because they're conceptually appealing, and that's a concept very closely related to "story", especially if the game features a heavy degree of emergence.

The story is not important at all, look at Tetris, most people don't even know it has a story. Or Blackwake, no story.

Stories are an optional feature but pleasant if they're done correctly.
