this honestly wasnt me, from the other thread, all I wanted to do was put 'classic' somewhere in the post and have someone post a picture of Paul Dano
I didn't ask for this
There's something about this movie that makes it feel like an instant classic.
>>84637756
the dialogue sounds like it was written by a 14 yr old vegan
the actors sound like they were given the script on the night before
>>84637756
I agree
ITT: Actors you always love to see in movies
Hell, I might watch "Daddy's Home 2" entirely because he's in it (and Mel), and I didn't even see the first one.

I want him to play someone in James bond. He has the look for someone high up, maybe even a villain

Why Kazakhstan in Borat is portrayed as generic Eastern European country (filmed in Romanian villiage) when in reality it's Central Asian country with mostly mongoloid population? Also white Sacha Baron Cohen plays asian character, but apparently nobody finds it racist
>>84637641
It's satire anon, get off your high-horse and just enjoy it for what it is, politically incorrect fun.
>>84637641
they're slavic dirt people, with a heavy middle eastern mix, mongoloid are not considered Kazahkstani, just like you wouldn't put niggers in a film about europa or america
>>84637662
No, Kazakhs are Mongols with some Turk genes

He's a smaller Lucas.
He makes a shitton of money of his well marketed flicks so that everyone else parrot his film making style for the next few years, making him look influational and talented.
Just watched Brazil again with the bad/unhappy ending. I need more movies where the villain wins or has a bad ending in general.
When The Black Birds Fly
It's definitely not for everyone since it's visual avantgarde in its purest form.

I like the way for years Whedon's drones had to doublethink their way around this movie. It was a shitty film but it it was written by their hero.

I liked it. It's not that bad. Lots of good ideas and good directing but the sum is less than all it's parts for some reason. Very watchable movie though.
So is it a fact that John Wick 2 is better than the first?
>Dude even the subway trashman is a assassin
>Dude the homeless beggar is also assassin
Wick 2 was pure shit, few good scenes but 2 hours full of shit otherwise.
>that scene with wick and the black dude casually walking in the same direction and trying to shoot each other in public but missing for several minutes while nobody else notices

What was her fucking problem?
she didn't just want to be a goomah
>>84636714
is dating a psycho girl as hot as she made it out to be?
>tfw no gloria gf to love me
>tfw no gloria f2f to comfort during one of her moods
What exactly was his problem? Why didn't he get a goomah when his wife was literally a fat ugly pig? Even Vito had a goomah and he had that problem with the blood pressure medication...
I mean, makes you kinda wonder if he was some kinda finook...
Imagine being Special Agent Dale Cooper in that scene and having to be all like "damn, Audrey Horne, you fuckin' fine, all sexy with your tight body and beautiful angelic feminine face, I can't possibly have sex with you, both the professional and the personal me." when all he really wants to do is tell a joke to Annie Blackburn at the Double R Diner. Like seriously imagine having to be Cooper and not only stand in that room while Audrey Horne flaunts her perfect body in front of you, the harsh lighting hardly hindering her youthful and creamy skin, and just stand there, day after day, hour after hour, while she perfected that smile. Not only having to tolerate her flawless fucking visage but her sweet attitude as everyone in the town tells her she's STILL GOT IT and DAMN, AUDREY HORNE LOOKS LIKE *THAT*?? because they're not the ones who have to sit there and watch her feminine fucking angel face contort into types of sexy looks you didn't even know existed before that day. You've been fucking nothing but a healthy diet of Caroline and Lara Flynn Boyle and later alleged Annie Blackburn for your ENTIRE CAREER coming straight out of the FBI in Philadelphia. You've never even seen anything this fucking beautiful before, and now you swear you can taste the sweat that's breaking out on her buxom breasts as she protrudes them outwards to writhe them suggestively at you, confidently assured that you are enjoying the opportunity to be there and revel in her "Virginal (for that is what she calls herself)" beauty, the beauty she worked so hard for with personal trainers in the previous months. And then the FBI director calls for another week at Twin Peaks, and you know you could kill every single person in this town before the Sheriff department could put you down, but you stand there and endure, because you're fucking Coop. You're not going to lose your future FBI director career over this. Just bear it. Hide your face and bear it.
This was an odd subplot. How old was she suppose to be in the show? 16? also clearly has a lot of emotional issues.
I don't see how they were suppose to "hook up" in the context of the show.
>>84636591
An illicit relationship with a nymphomaniac minor? Seems legit to me. Also, how he refuses her advances serves to accentuate Cooper's moral rectitude.
>>84637012
but his refusal was only because his real life gf didn't want him to have all these scenes with Audrey.
(or so I've read...I have no idea actually)
was the original plan that they were going to get together?
Just seemed weird for a FBI agent to start dating a high school student who was clearly mentally unhinged. Her having a crush on him seems reasonable enough though.
What does /tv/ think of this kino?
Fantastic movie
>>84636522
Probably the best film of this decade
I probably need to have another rewatch.
What are some good kinos that have an antagonist type character who has a good side or is justified in their actions?
I'm tired of watching movies with one dimensional characters and writing. I want to watch something where I'm morally conflicted on whether or not I agree with a character. Especially movies that feature monsters.

I saw it many years ago, possible in 2013. It was an indie film i watched online, possibly YouTube. Teen girl and friends take shrooms in a cave, girl has bad trip and either dies or goes missing, can't remember. Pretty sure she went missing though .
The rest is just fragmented memories. An anaboned half built drug house? Guy being chased by the girl through pastel pink woods. Girl drops acid on her tongue and eyes? For some reason I remember an acoustic guitar.
It was such a weird film. I feel like its a fever dream from long ago. I know it's real though. I need to find this obscure piece of shit. It's so weird.
Please help. Thanks.
>>84635989
It is 'Shrooms?
>>84636004
No. It was nothing like that.
It was more along the lines of an abstract art film.
I just remembered details
It was based on a true story and the girl starring in it was the actual girl. Dramatized version of irl story.
Some of it was found footage.
