Does anyone remember Puzz 3D? I was recently reminded of it when I found pieces of my old Titanic a long time ago as I was cleaning around the house today.
I started searching online for them and was taken on a nostalgia trip.
It looks like though these days, they've become rare and hard to find seeing as they don't seem to be retailing anymore.
Anyone have any advise or ideas on how to get some, particularly the more famous Puzz3Ds like I remember Duomo and Taj Majal but this Nimitz also looks great. And general 3D puzzle thread too.
Also to add, I'm trying to see if there's some of official "catalog" for these but I'm not finding much through Google since its just giving me Amazon, ebay, and some really small name sellers.
These things were my absolute favorite as a kid and I would look for them at every store we ever visited. This was after their popularity faded so it was a real stroke of luck when I could find one. Then about a year ago they came back and I still haven't bought one.
I did find the Titanic (hopefully complete) in a Houston toyshop last year, and a Millennium Falcon at a garage sale, but I've procrastinated putting them together.
I'm seeing now Amazon actually carries quite a huge selection of them and has some great deals on them including the prime Free shipping. This could be fun.
How do y'all feel about the new articulated icons feudal series guys? You think there gonna be a hit or crash and burn???

>Doc. Is. Pissed.
I've already pre ordered my shinobi warrior.
Here's some sketches of the articulation points
Old thread hit bump limit. Let's start this new one big!

LITERALLY UNSELLABLE

>starts new thread
>old thread is not at bump limit
>starts thread with 3rd party shit
Op you are an idiot.
So did Hasbro confirm any other of these black series voice changers? Trooper helmet when?
Also STAR WARS General I guess.
Does it fit your head?
I'm want to buy something star wars related because of the hype but I don't know what. I'm even considering buying a BB-8 funko...
it always annoyed me that toy lightsabers (that come with figures) are always just transluscent colored plastic which never gives them the real look (white with colored borders)
do you think theres a better way to handle it?
i'd think about a white pole with another transluscent, barely colored hull around it.
>posing your toys in le funny positions and taking pictures of them
Does anyone else not do this?
>>5365733
>Does anyone else not do this?
I don't take pictures of them , but I still put them in funny positions.
So, no, I do not do this.
>>5365733
I don't. I think it's mostly the unemployed people with too much time on their hands that do it. I barely have the time to open them up and set them in a pose before I have to do something else.
>>5365733
We have had many threads about this.
look how much potential PAK has
they need to fire their paint/color director

Right looks like David Bowie
>>5361570
so youre saying he looks like the man who sold the world?
do you guys consider 1:1 scaled prop replicas toys?
>>5371596
Yeah, generally. Most are meant to be played with in some respect. Show me somebody who spends $500 on a lightsaber and doesn't spin around with it in the dark, and I'll show you a retard
Same with people who buy figures and don't take them out of the box and pose them
>>5371596
DX rider/Sentai toys are almost 1:1.
The belts are pretty much 1:1
Those are almsot proplicas and still toys
(Theres alo proplica bandai line)
Also fuck. What the fuck is wrong with that splerglod in the pic?
>>5373891
The DX rider/sentai toys are much smaller than 1:1, they're more toyetic than the show versions and are designed to fit and be played with by Japanese children, so they're sized for that.
The Complete Selection Modification line though are the 1:1 rider roleplay toys.
Which black series line should I buy: 3.75 or 6"?
6" scale is the best scale on earth
I think 3.75 is cool but hard to come by
6 inch fo sho
Alright, I heard about these a few days ago, from a friend, and now I want to try to find them.
By "These" I mean, the megazord toyline that they made for the 20th anniversary of the show. The toys in question are the ones that are all built the same size and with the same joint connectors so that all of them are interchangable.
The guy that told me didn't know the name of the line, I was wondering if anyone on here knew the exact name of the toyline?
If this is a made up toyline that doesn't exist, then what are the best quality Megazord toys?
Legacy?
>>5368298
Thanks.
The first Megazor was the Best.
Is there any way to buy these without spending ten MILLION dollars?
The cheapest is to buy them off Bricklink via individual pieces, no instructions.
That said, check your local classifieds for people offloading their old shit, eBay (especially in lot auctions), etc. Even the Gen 1s aren't terribly expensive unless you want them MISB or some shit.
>>5372066
You can skip the mistika. Seriously they were some awful sets.
>>5372066
You better get to sucking OP
How do you keep your toys?
>>5365715
Displayed or put away. No one has ever said "Wow, that guy has all those toys MIB on his walls! He must really have his shit together and isn't creepy at all!"
>>5365724
This is called psychological projection, seek help
>>5365715
Depends. If the card is really attractive and the figure has limited articulation, I'll put 'em on the wall. If in a collector friendly box, I might leave 'em displayed or pose 'em somewhere.
I've been getting further and further away from carded figures on the wall because they take up too much room. Same with storage.
I was thinking of making a custom Galen Marek figure using a Figma or SH Figuarts as a base. I'm looking for suggestions on what figure to use as a base, and what type of clay to use.
>>5373068
Nice idea, i dig it. You should try asking in the customs general tho
>Darth Insanius
>Darth Icki
Trying to figure out what this is, got it at a Bazaar
I didn't know hartley hooligans got figs
>>5372366
Its a polymer clay figure, I'm guessing a baby troll or elf or something. Its not a commercially made toy so unless its got a name written on it somewhere you'll probably never find out who made it. Weird little clay fantasy figures like this are pretty common since they're easy to make at home. At least its reasonably well made, I've seen really terrible ones.
Received the Tamashii Stage ACT.4 for Humanoid only to find the clips are on a sprue.
Without having any modeling skills or tools, how would I go about removing them?
Rip them off and don't break them in the process, duh
What the fuck
Rip them out carefully, with an X-acto or something, remove sprues.

>Without having any modeling skills or tools, how would I go about removing them?
Step 1: Take some modeling classes. Work on your skills, learn some techniques. Study the works of the pros.
Step 2: Invest in stocks for a home improvement retail company, like Lowe's or Home Depot. Build workshop in home, purchasing from your chosen retail establishment.
Step 3: As stock prices soar, use your stock profits to purchase God Hand® Ultimate Nippers™ from a scalper.
Step 4: Using combined powers of modeling classes & God Hand® Ultimate Nippers™ separate the clips from the runners.
Step 5: ???
Step 6: Profit.
>>5370685
The most expensive/valuable one in the world.
I would then scalp it and use the profit to buy all the toys I actually want.
