I enjoy comic figures (marvel and few DC), transformers, gijoe and star wars figures. Along with video game ones. Which of those 4 should I give up?

Those are cool, well designed, but I'll stick to Figuarts. God help me if I get into Legos.
I'm glad the Lego community has this though, congrats.
>>5366212
The bootleg ones look better
>>5366212
Literally why? What's the point? What's in the DBZ universe that people would want to build using Lego bricks?
Wake me up when they'll get the licence for something interesting like something with tons of cool robots and vehicles.
Hold me, /toy/. My house was broken into while I was gone a few days ago, and among other things, such as my computer, TV, several pieces of jewelry and such, they took almost all of my Lego collection. I had many sets, most from Star Wars. I had several thousands of dollars in those sets. And now I can't get them back.
>>5362718
Damn, that really fucking sucks. Were you able to insure them?
>>5362718
Sounds like your parents are just trying to get you to grow up. Nobody steals a fucking lego set.
>>5362718
Sounds like you'll just have to learn to... Lego
Are the thigh swivels meant to be pulled out, or did I just ruin another figure?
The black series literally looks better, why can't figuarts do troopers?
>>5373057
too bad they can't pose worth a damn
To my knowledge they are, yeah.
I think someone was talking about doing it in the figuarts thread.
Alright /toy/, we're just a few hours from 2015. Post your:
>Toy of the year
>Disappointment of the year
>Most hype toy for 2015
I don't understand what's going on here
TOTY: This motherfucker.
DOTY: Hard to say since I obtained mainly older releases this year. Probably SAS PB Dio Brando
Hype for 2016 which what I'm assuming you meant: Sentinel's Salehanthropus or the Supreme Catatonic
Where can I check the upcoming figures this year?
happy new year fuckers, let's hope for new and cool shit to buy for this 2016, also post your toys celebrating shit

>Oh, cool. I guess I'll have to look closer on my guys then for holes that might fit properly.
It's very prevalent nowadays, which is handy, even the Constructicons have the holes!
I just got the Legends Shockwave and love him, are there any other new legends coming out to look forward to that we know of yet?
Helps to post that theres a new thread in the old one, fyi.
>>5369982
The humanoid cassettes look pretty cool so there's that.
Post the one figure you're looking forward to getting the most in 2016.
It can only be ONE.

What is the cape made of?
NYCfag here. Everyone in my office just found out that the Toys R Us in Times Square is closing down (along with FAO Schwartz)... now the whole office is talking about these stores, and toys in general...
...Meanwhile, I have to hide my power level and refrain from sperging on about Sonicos and Drossels...
What would you do in the situation? Just talk about normal toy shit with the coworkers, or progress it into a super nerd conversation?
Just talk about Funko Pop! Vinyl toys and mention that you love TBBT.
>>5370042
Don't say anything at all. Don't risk anyhting. Do NOT reveal your powerlevel or attempt to do so.
I didn't know the Toys-R-Us in Times Square was closing and I live here. Fuck.
>>5370042
I just wouldn't talk about it. Not to hide your hobby but just because talking about toys with people who don't collect is generally crap.
I mean I talk to my closer friends about it but I probably wouldn't talk about it to coworkers.
Everyone is just like "This is worth so much money! When are you going to sell??" and stuff like that. It's hard to convince someone who doesn't collect that buying toys for investment is stupid and that not everything they played with as a kid is worth a million dollars.
Some people literally believe funko pops and shit will put their children through college.
I found these cool miniature accessories at a Michaels craft store today and just wanted to share with everyone.
I'm not really good at telling scales, but some were a little bigger than others.
Neat accessories thread I guess. Have you found any neat little things for toys in unexpected places?
Sorry for phone pics, but you have to deal.
Here is pic 2

holy shit I have been wanting mini food for my robots, thanks
I've seen this stuff at michaels too and have been tempted, but for the prices I think I'd rather just buy rement sets.
Cake decorations can be good sometimes.
Another source that /toy/ found a couple years ago is MiWorld diorama sets at Target and TRU. They also sell additional accessories for them.
Just bought my first toy that cost over $40, so I'm pretty nervous about messing it up.
The holes on the Mezco Judge Dredd's feet seem too small for the peg on the base, is that just me? Any tips for sorting it out?
Also, how would I change the hands? Tug them?
I've removed the peg from the stand and it's clear that the holes on the feet are far too small - I tried one of my Marvel Legends and it fit on the peg perfectly. Is this a defect or do I need to do something to fix it?
I got mine today, and yeah the peg doesn't fit the foot.
I think you are supposed to remove it and put the stand in the hole, not sure though.
BTW does anyone know if you can safely remove his head? I want to see if I can get the zipper to close all the way (seems slightly uneven) and I can't do it with his head on.
>>5370223
I was able to get it on, you do have to be a little aggressive. No clue about the head though.
Gwenpool is the new hot stuff, who the fuck is Spider-Gwen? edition

Challenge idea:
Day after the party. Make a diorama of your characters hungover as shit and shocked at the things they did the night before at the new years party.
>>5370479
To add to this.
Bonus points if theres at LEAST one crashed vehicle, one unknown person in bed and one stolen tiger or other large animal locked in a room.
