The day I got this baby on a thrift store at 15$ I Coudn't fucking believe it! that day I started collecting mechs (mostly Gundams & Megazords) I had a pair of gundam action figures before him but getting this one marked a Before & After, 2 years later now The collection has grown quite a few... :)

I saw this at the store, thought I might check it out, paid what I later learned was way too much for it, had a hell of a time transforming it, enjoyed it, and that was it. That evening I looked up Optimus Primes, then I looked up the movie toys, then I bought something else (no idea what #2 was, looking back, maybe it was Universe Hound?) and that was it, I was a collector.

Is this thing going to be available stateside? I guess I wouldn't mind importing it if the price is right. Really wish they packaged almost any other figure than Hot Rod, though. I know how to take care of my toys, OP. If something did happen, I'd be able to repair just about anything that happened to the figure short of them being melted or pulverized.

So no, I wouldn't want to kill someone for doing what's in your image. Beyond some fucked up chrome, I'd expect most of those figures to be salvageable, though probably not sales-worthy.

The figure doesn't have any glaring issues. Being an early Figma, the sculpt can be a bit awkward in places (the chest), but aside from that, whether or not it's worth it will depend on how much you want a figure of a gay porn star/2009-era NND meme.
