Anyone have any expirience with the LBX Robots line?

I saw some and i am tempted to order em, but dunno what to expect, i read they require assembly, but also, that once put together they are sturdy

I only have the Hyper Function Lucifer and Achilles, and they're awesome. Cant say anything about the regular ones though since I dont own any. All I know is lots of sticker detail / paint apps are needed for accuracy.

RolloutReviews have a few LBX reviews on Youtube.
>>
>>5424006
They are basically really simple gundam kits. some of the stickers are kinda shitty, and you'd be better off doing some simple painting or using a gundam marker.
but they're pretty neat, if you see a design you like I say go for it.
Also the one in your pic actually has rubber tank treads.

Hello /toy/

What's the best 3.75 arc trooper figure?

I put a prime on articulation.

Also, a related question:

How does the Black Series vanilla clone trooper compare against the vintage collection clone trooper?

Yes, I know the last 2 are not the same size.

Thanks!

Hey guys, I'm new to the hobby and was wondering if you lads have any suggestions for a good articulated figure for under $100 most likely around the $50 price point. I have been eyeing out the Revoltech Raiden which will cost me a total of $60NZD.

Guys. how much would be the shipping to Canada for this on Amiami.

Just want to know before fucking everything up.
4 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
Contact them about it, give them a link to the product page and ask how much a shipping to Canada will be.

It's a hassle but amiami doesn't have shipping calculator.
>>
>>5427718
Yeah, that's pretty stupid they don't have a calculator. Of you don't have the money for all the shipping, then you're fucked.

At least TOM gives you the shipping cost right now instead of making you wait for a day.
>>
>>5427706
Since it's only a pic the shipping if free.
Not even a name or a link to the item you are asking ?

is the Guts Figma worth getting right now at his scalper prices? I heard there is anime for the Berserk series to be premiered this year. What are the chances of figma (or anyone really) taking a crack at new berserker figures?
12 posts and 3 images submitted.
>>
I wouldn't exactly call it scalper prices. At this point it's late fees.

I'd like a Black Swordsman rerelease to celebrate the upcoming series, but I don't know how often Max Factory does those.

Vulcanlog seems to be grabbing a LOT of licenses as of late. They miiiiight take a crack at Berserk, then again I doubt they'll want to compete with the upcoming God Hand Figmas (knock on wood) and the already established Berserk line.
>>
Oh, to answer your question, it is a good Figma. If I was a big Berserk fan I'd pay $80 for it. I had him but sold it just because the whole boat thing really turned me off of the series.

Also this is one of the worst cases of promo to final product. Guts face looks like ass in production version.

- Perfect paint and decals
- Perfect plastic molding with no seams or texture defects
- A really good toy design that you especially want to be as perfect as possible

Where to buy
>GSC Online Shop - some figmas only are available through their online shop
>Amiami - usual place for buying, to some people, shipping is a bit higher due to packaging
>Hobby Link Japan shipping is usual lower, but their prices are a bit higher, private warehaouse is available
>Hobby Search Japan - items stay in stock the longest
>Mandarake - search figma or フィグマ
>eBay/Amazon - only if you hate having too much money. Avoid bootlegs, you can spot them as 'Chinese version'
>Check the BST threads, My Figure Collection for any offer/deal

The S shape is always good advice though. The basic idea is that straight lines tend to look stiff.

How's the articulation in this figure?
>>
>>5426462
Pretty poor.
The arms don't bend all the way due to the upper arm armor.
The hip and crotch armor also limits articulation somewhat.

Quite a disappointing figure personally.

What brand is this hat??
