Did anyone talk about these during NYTF?
Hasbro's created a new subline of their mix-and-match Hero Mashers line based on horror monsters.
>>5578882
They're all still compatible with their licensed Mashers, but the designs are completely original.
Unfortunately Hasbro apparently got a negative response from North American retailers, so these will be released everywhere else but the US.

Yay Mandarake package!
As someone who has only bought plamo, how big are Robot Damshii figuress? Are they as big as 1/144?
Those of you just joining us, please read this guide. Please read it before asking questions as there is a chance it has already been answered there.
For those unfamiliar, "Plamo" is a shortened form of "plastic model." If it's made of plastic, someone can probably help you here.

Does anyone happen to know what weight of cardstock you're supposed to use for the Road Roller?
>>5572324
The thicker the better for something of that scale, especially if you want to stick the figures on top of it.

This line really went down the drain.

Where to buy second hand Shinkis:
>eBay, Amazon - generally overpriced, but you might get lucky.
>Mandarake, Rakuten - search with kanji and don't trust listing images.
>Yahoo Japan Auctions, Suruga-ya - you'll need a proxy if you’re not in Japan.
>Taobao - some shops ship international now, so you might not need a proxy.
>Amiami occasionally gets some preowned.

Aren't they going to lose their license after this year?
I bought a UW Devastator from HobbyLinkJapan last week and it was shipped out the day I ordered it.
Except it's been stuck at the local Fed-Ex Facility in Sennan-Shi Japan since Tuesday.
Is this ever actually going to ship like ever. Does Fed-Ex have to wait till they got a full cargo till they actually ship.
I should mention I live around Ottawa, Canada so I'm guessing rarely they ship from Japan to Ottawa?
I usually am never impatient about things but it's been at the same place all week.
>>5583828
If by express, air cargo so wait another week or two.
If standard, wait a month.
I buy from hlj every 3 months, and items usually take 2-5 weeks.
>>5583861
why does it take a whole week though?
it promised me like 5 to 7 business days.
>>5583828
I'm surprised anyone uses fed-ex considering the cost but that's just me.
All you can do it wait, I'm in Australia and packages usually take 5-7 days via ems,m sometimes less if lucky
What is the best shipping meathod for Amiami? I've heard EMS is shit
>>5583304
SAL is for poor people. Fedex always gets me my shit within 3 or 4 days.
>>5583304
I get an order from them every month and go with EMS all the time, it generally goes like pic related, shipped to Alaska. Can't go wrong with that imo.
>>5583304
Who told you that? I've been using EMS for years and the worst thing I can say about it is that sometimes your order gets held up in customs for a bit so it doesn't quite meet the "3-5 days" time promise. Other than that it's been nothing but excellent.
Ignore whoever told you these lies. EMS and FedEx (prob DHL too but I've never tried it personally) are god-tier. SAL and RSAL work okay, but they're unsafe and slow.

This is the set I regret not buying the most besides the Medieval Market Village. You got so much with it. A gold knight, a jester (which was new at the time), a queen, a soldier, some skeletons and one that looks like the Grim Reaper with a skeleton horse even. It was $40 and I think within the year it was retired, it shot up to $80. I hadn't gotten back into buying toys of any kind yet, though I looked on this board frequently. I just wasn't sure if it was ok to spend my money on it back then.

Yeah, they're really expensive and he basically just runs a blog that takes news articles and galleries from popular nip sites. I don't mind checking there or whatever but I would not pay him the premium the kits cost there to support such a site either.

I couldn't really give a crap about that. I missed out on GundamPlanet's preorder for the 1/144 Gaelio Graze and really want an official one, with box, especially since GG Infinite is pricing theirs at about $23.

>>5578978
Fuck yessssss.
I appreciate the accessories and extra heads but christ this is the third time we've gotten these figures. Where the fuck is Shredder or anyone else?
>>5578978
What are the chances of these getting smaller/cheaper figures?
I love that design but they're too big for my taste and I don't feel like spending more than a grand just for three robots.
Also Getter general I suppose.
Smaller doesn't exactly = cheaper in toy manufacturing.
The reason why the figures are so expensive is mainly because Fewture only produces a small amount of units, given it's for a niche consumer base and they're a very small company.
They're not made for plebs like you and I, OP.
