Hey dudes, I'm headed to California this weekend (Orange County) and was wondering if you knew of any cool places for toys/comics?
I'm mostly a Japanese figure collector but vintage toys are cool too.
Thanks for any help!
Frank and Son's collectible show. It's in like southern LA county but they have a ton of vendors with a huge variety of stuff. But it's only open Saturdays and Wednesdays and parking is the worst thing in the world
Anime king in irvine. All japanese stuff. Phat collectibles in anaheim.
Will this fucker get a rerelease when 3.0+1.0 comes out?
>>5570203
Doubt it.
>>5570203
If you find one for a good price snatch it up. I was late getting mine, but I found one for under 300. Money well spent, the hard plastic torso is much better than that new rubber shit they use.
>>5570203
The licence is pretty much dead. If Bandai won't even make rerelease cheap RD ones, why would someone rerelease something that expensive?
Okay nerds, let's see what rides with you on your nerdtastic nerdventures.

Sorry for the potato
YOU NEED TO GET HELP, YOUR CAR IS ON IT'S SIDE!
>>5570195
I don't have a car
>Today I have a giant Barbie egg!
I don't understand these channels' obsession with eggs... Easter is coming up, fine, but what about all the other shenan-egg-ans?
>>5568096
DID YOU PULL THAT FROM YOUR VAGINA, YOU SCUMMY BITCH!?!?
>>5568146
Whoa, take it down a notch.
Any good figures of this guy? He's my buddies favorite hero and I want to get him one for his birthday.
There's the DCUC, but I wouldn't call it "good", at least not the mediocre rubbery parts. It's serviceable and does have a variety of parts combinations though.

I'm fond of the Justice Plas but if you want to go Jack Cole goofy get the DCUC.
any good ayy lmao toys?

Fuck this planet, it is a piece of shit.
Some Ebay scrub bought a figure from me and broke one of the hand pegs immediately, and is now saying that I sent the figure to him broken. He is being far hostile and even opening a case on ebay... What do I even say when ebay opens the case? Do I just tell them that this asshole is trying to rip me off?
Was the figure factory sealed or used?
>>5566471
It was used.
>>5566467
>>5566477
eBay always sides with the buyer, so it's pointless telling you this now, but next time make a video of yourself packing the figure.
If the figure is new, show the unbroken seals to the camera, and give a full 360 of the box just for good measure.
If the figure is used/unsealed, make sure to show the figure to the camera (in focus) to emphasise that there's nothing broken, show all of the accessories so you can prove there's no missing parts, and then carefully pack it away, use plenty of bubble wrap etc. and seal the box with duct tape or something that's unbreakable without fucking up the box (so only the buyer can open it once it arrives). Take lots of photos for your listing too, don't just have a photo of the figure in the box if you're selling used.
This is what I've done for my past few transactions, thankfully my buyers weren't assholes but it's always good to have insurance against some hamhanded prick who decides they deserve a refund after fucking up a perfectly good figure.
Hello /toy/soldiers. It's time for the /toy/ 2016 Roster Poll for our 4chan Cup team.
The poll will be open until March 28th, so please be sure to vote!
I also posted a link on /toy/'s wiki page http://implyingrigged.info/wiki//toy/ in case this thread gets deleted.
I'll be around to answer any questions that you may have so please feel free to ask.
I bet you'd also like a link to the poll huh?

I only just noticed now that I linked the completely wrong thing and that 4chan won't let me delete a post that old.
How embarrassing.

literally exactly the same thing.
Not a while ago i saw a pic with guide of papermade swimsuit. Maybe someone save it? Maybe he even could share it with me?
>>5560722
Or though it wasn't swimsuit, it was bra and pantsu.
>>5560722
> papermade
Papercraft.
are you sure it's not made of rubber balloons?
Anyone been picking up the recent legacy megazords that have been coming out? I've been thinking of getting pic related but the 200 dollar price point makes me wonder if I should just purchase the classic red dragon Zorn and save my money for the legacy ninjazord.
Has anyone heard if they're going to re release the classic coloring of the dragonzord when the black and gold variant comes out? Dropping almost 300 for one on eBay seems excessive
Then you have this beaut. The articulation on the wings really impressed me. Can't wait for the shogun set.
Hopefully we get a white left arm this time instead of the pink zord
The zords are cool but a more updated figure with articulation and what not would have got me to get them. They're nice but as is I'm happy with just the og megazord. As for legacy power rangers in general, I'm quite looking forward to their build a zord series. There's a toy fair video on YouTube where you can get a pretty good look at ninja storm red, the zord, and a bit of the build a figure zord, right after the camera passes by the legacy zords. Hopefully these turn out well.

Why should they rerelease it? People will say $60 is too expensive and drag their feet again.

>What wheels are you referring to?
The front wheels. The post of the arms literally goes right into the side of the wheel. No way is that rolling.
Third for sexpointer
>>5567499
It looks like a split wheel though where the piece on the outside of the tire moves, but the rim does not. Also the other wheels obviously move.
Fansproject's not-DiaBattles, Trianix Alpha is up for pre-order on FPCore.com for premium members. Member pricing is $99.99 with free shipping. Set to ship in July.
Non-members will have to pay $120 and can start ordering next week.
Thinking about selling my Monsterarts collection for this guy.
Anyone else have one?
What are your thoughts?
It set a new standard for me in collecting. Probably the best figure I've ever owned, and I spend 14k-16k a year on toys. If you get him, make sure to get Stryder to go along with him.
>>5565917
Is the pilot cool, as well? How's his articulation?
>>5566215
different anon here.
articulation is as you would expect for a robot the size of a baby.
and of course, since he is a giant walking tank, you dont really need to pose him and he looks good.
I usually just have him out and in the pose you have in the OP.
ive had the thing since it first game out but ive never gone as far as put the pilot inside the thing since it involve taking off the pilots belt and jump pack and the instructions say "get another person to help"

>hasbro, like so many US companies and US branches of companies, has a boner for doing their own thing and likes to get petulant when people they're in business with do their own thing
Japanese companies are also incredibly fucked at times. See: Capcom for the last 5+ years, Konami basically setting fire to it's Golden Goose and raping the ashes, Nintendo's refusal to give anyone what they want, etc.
>>5578360
>Liokaiser announced
>All molds have new heads
>Each of them comes with a breastmaster partner
>Sky Lynx has been heavily retooled to have both a dragon mode and robot mode
I can dream right?
I do wonder what the 6th member will be since Hasbro usually puts one in their box sets.
>>5578350
>. see: animated breakdown being made entirely by takara, and hasbro subsequently going "no fuck you we're not gonna sell it"
Wrong.
Takara and Hasbro were jointly working on Breakdown when Hasbro decided they didn't want to release Breakdown at all. So Takara tooled it up and finished it, subsequently making it too complex to sell at the Voyager price point, which is why Hasbro never released it after
Can this actually happen, or is it just a rumor?
>>5577464
With those kinds of blocks and that deep? No it can't. Impossible, image is photoshopped
However I am sure some blocks can dig into your flesh a good ways like maybe the sloped ones.
So fake but still hurts, I'd lmao if something l?ike in the pic happened.
>>5577471
The sloped ones would snap before they penetrated, but after snapping they'd probably cut you.
