Why were the ancient Greeks pedophiles and pederasts? I ask this in genuine curiosity and good faith, on why Greeks thought a 54 year old man fucking his 11 year old nephew was good for his ethical foundation growth. (they always spun it as, learning from your elders by getting fucked in the ass.)
Not only was this not fringe, it was basically like the modern day pizzagate shit where if you are expected to become powerful, you MUST fuck little boys. This is beyond comprehension to me.

I don't know if I should say this here or in /int/, but I've lived in Britain for a few months (since February) and I personally love it in spite of how crazy things might get.

I'm in Suffolk, and have the opportunity to visit Norfolk and have met so many RAF veterans and military guys who think the same way as Americans. One of them was showing me around Norwich and talking about how much of England is in decline, and literally as he's saying this we round the corner to a Refugees Welcome rally.

I've heard the same thought from him and from other vets, that London was bombed by the Germans in WWII, and that didn't stop them in the long run, even though they had a rough time getting out of their situation.

In fact, for work I'm sort of required to be in a rural area. Almost everyone I've spoken to here has thought the exact same. The majority of people are against the social decline of the UK, and I feel that there's some deep divisions in this beautiful country. Before coming here, I thought Britain was almost a lost cause, but now I feel hope for it, even if the media and BBC pushes the standpoints of the inner cities as the standpoint of the rest of the country.

Real surveys and statistics say atheism is on the decline worldwide. Sorry atheists but atheism is not on the rise nor is it winning. It's still the minority and a declining one at that.

The Pew Research Center's statistics show that atheism is expected to continue to decline all the way into 2050 with a continued growth of religion. Other research also shows a huge surge in growth for Christianity in China which is currently the world's most "atheist" nation because of the atheist communist government suppressing religion, the research suggests that China will soon become the world's most Christian nation within 15 years.

This is simply history repeating itself: Christianity prospered in Rome back in the ancient era when it was suppressed and it still grew in the militant atheist soviet Russia when it was suppressed there only a century ago with the majority of Russians today now also identifying as Christian. Just goes to show that atheist suppression of religion still doesn't stop religion.
