She told her she felt like she was in Sweden or the UK. Admittedly they got their life together and have decent jobs and salaries.

I did a KV apprenticeship and my theory is that these kinds of people writing that way is your average to below average KV'ler. I remember my time in professional school and me thinking how in the living world companies would grant the large amount of drooling retards an apprenticeship. I went to Uni, started studying BWL, hated it, so I went for Durchdiener instead of wasting more time. After that I got the offer to do a internship in a special ed boarding home, did that and loved it. Studied social work for 3 years and made my master straight after.

Looks awesome. Financially, it certainly looks doable. I don't know whether you can just buy land in the US as a citizen in Europe, though and how I'd get to a greencard. Either way, I'm not holding my breath expecting to end up there since it's comfy enough here for the time being. If I won in a lottery or something, however, I'd probably move to the JewSA relatively quickly.
