Thinking of buying a 2015 Mustang GT. Hear me out:
1. Want a daily driver
2. Test drove the Camaro, can't see shit captain
3. Want it to be fast/fun/sporty
4. Can't afford over 30k
5. Sick of four door cars, single, live alone
6. Challenger looks like a stupid boat
7. Considering other options, such as ATS coupe, 335i, WRX, etc.
8. Live close to work, so MPG isn't a huge deal.

Bought a '94 Caprice 9C1 edition for $1400. Runs awesome, just needs a new windshield because a tree branch fell and cracked it. Previous owner installed remote electric locks and trunk button, installed export German t84 headlights, and a rear axle from an Impala ss. Plus the spotlight works.

I know supras are good for producing power on the cheap, but are they more than a muscle car to go fast in a straight line?
Assuming top of the line suspension and tyres, are they good for turning without sliding out (i hear the chassis is pretty tail happy)?
Is the chassis rigid enough (or if not, something a few strut braces won't fix)?
I genuinely like the car, it's fucking cool and cheap as hell here in australia, but there's a lot of meme magic around the car and i want some honest opinions.
Can i get some facts from people who've driven them and don't sugar coat it or shitpost about it either?

I've been wanting to buy an ae86 for a while now, and being that my shitbox is on its way out, I'm thinking I should start looking. What would be a reasonable price for an ae86 hatchback in good condition? 10k?
The one I'm looking at is going for 14k, but I talked the owner down to 12k. It's fully restored, but it's like a 5 hour drive. As long as I'm driving away in it I don't care, but would 12k be a little too much?

When are smart traffic lights going to be become a thing for rural areas? All too often I'll be driving and the light turns yellow and I'll have to stop and wait several minutes. And I think to myself god damn there's not another car traveling in my same direction for several hundred yards, the damn light should have noticed that and just fucking stayed green for a few seconds longer so I could have had time to make it through the yellow. Truly this would be more efficient.

Depends on where you live.
Where I live, these lights are common. They'll skip the left turn phase if there's nobody in the left turning lanes. They'll even remain green in one direction if there's nobody waiting in the other.
There's one annoying thing about them though. When they fuck up. The weight sensing ones are the worst. If you're driving a light car they sometimes don't notice you're there, and then you're stuck at an eternal red light.
There are tricks though. Back up, brake hard, accelerate, brake hard. Anything to get the damn thing to notice you're there.

Travelling to Europe and was looking at car rental prices.. Manuals were heck of a lot more cheaper. Didn't know how to ride manuals (only experience was with motorcycles).
Had my first lesson today. Holy shit. It was amazing. Next car I buy will for sure be a manual.
One question though.. when coming to 4 way stop, the instructor had me slow down, near 1K RPMS, disengage clutch, put in first, break to a full stop, then go.
Is this correct? I thought you would put the car in neutral, then when stopped, shift to first then go..
Does it matter? Which is better for the clutch? (i.e. less wear and tear)

Bought the first car in my life and it has a few issues.

It was owned by a woman that took no care of it. First off, I probably shouldn't have bought it, but I'm beyond that now.
The IMA and engine lights are on. I've taken it to a couple different shops and they've all told me, "Well, looks like you need a new IMA battery which is going to run you no less than $2,500."
I've been doing some research and it seems possible that my issues might not be quite that expensive. In fact I might be able to solve this whole mess with a $6 part. The AC compressor relay #R6242.
How that's related, I'm not sure, but other owners seem to have had luck with that.
I intend to start there because, hell, that's the easiest and cheapest place to start.
Assuming that fails (and it seems it likely will) and I need to go the IMA route what do you think my best bet is?
Rebuilding it seems the cheapest way to go. I don't have $2,500 to spend on a battery. I paid $1,800 for the whole car.
Has anyone else dealt with this?

the batteries Honda uses look lie D cells and they are welded together into sticks.
You can pull the battery pack out and then test each stick with a multi meter. replacing bad sticks with either salvage sticks or individual new ones.
