That's the mating ritual to attract a member of the same sex.
I want to buy a brand new car and baby it/daily it for 20+ years until it gives out. It needs to be somewhat fun, reliable, manual, and practical enough to use as an only car.
What cars should I be looking into? Pic related is the only thing I can think of at the moment.

The one on the left is a classic car enthusiast.
The one on the right is a classic car destroying bogan.
Luckily it's just an old family car looking holden and nothing too special.
>>14571946
The one on the left is abusing a car never intended for heavy short-course punishments, without safety equipment, and suspension upgrades(from the looks of it). As it's likepy running without modifications, he's senselessly abusing a vehicle not intended or upgrade to cope with the added stresses, without being competetive in his class. The only thing gained is his joy.
The car on the right, by the looks of it, is explicitly modified for burnout competitions, not only being competetive, but safe, well-adjusted, and without heavily destroying the car. Most burnout cars are also showcars, which means they're kept in immaculate conditions, and restored to that after competition. The car on the right is also a great example at what oldschool technology (burly big V8, supercharger, nitrous) with slight modern upgrades can do. They're a pinnacle of power, handing out fun by the boatloads for both the driver and any enthousiasts looking at the competition.
And if you're really concerned, it's just a fourdoor. Who cares?

The one on the left is a sports car made for driving on twisty roads and having fun, while also being able to be driven for a nice drive on the country side. You are incorrect.
The one on the left has been boganised with shitty paint job and 5 thousand dollar tatseless wheels when all it need was some 15" cragars.
Built for impressing people with southern cross tattoos who spend all their money at the pub and never read books.
Whats the stance on this car? My friend says its a sick stance e46, but I'm not sure how to measure it and don't want to look like a idiot.
Anyone have an estamate on the stance on this car ? thanks
>>14570596
tell your friend hes a basic bitch and that e46 has shit cunt stance
>>14570605
Um, can you even drive a car with that stance?

That is an e36 and it isn't stanced at all. Shit is clean. Perhaps lowered a bit too much but clean.

No, because your flea market subs aren't loud and Prius owners can't hear them over their engine.
Is Koenigsegg the ultimate garage brand?
Besides classic cars at least.
Not only have I nor anybody I know ever even seen one in real life there's barely any footage of them on the internet either. It's always them revving in garages
>>14569098
I just assume their numbers are more limited than you might imagine. Plus you have to account for all the cars that have been crashed (probably 85%).
If I'm not mistaken, Koenigsegg have barely produced 200 cars in all their history.
>>14569098
Very limited production, combined with huge danger potential.

>>14568386
They're cool. Ive heard their power steering is designed atrociously and - o meme aside - theyre REAL heavy. But who cares its a late 80s turbo and it looks good
>>14568386
It might be good if you found a 1jz model. Dont consider any other and certainly not an automatic. If you read the wiki page, the automatic can weigh in excess of 4000lbs. The manual can be as low as ~2980lbs.
Does a car actually lose power when there are holes in the manifold/exhaust pipes somewhere?
I heard that the pressure is kind of important for some reason

Instead of going ape shit with retarded safety regs, why not fit lower spec cars with fatter tyres and better brakes as standard?
Why do so many shit cheap cars use rear drum brakes, then have a million airbags and crumple zones? Why not actually attack the problem at the source?
Am I retarded?
>>14568313
No amount of braking power will save a driver who isn't paying attention to the road in the first place.

>OBD II Definitions
Powertrain Control Module (PCM) -- OBD II terminology for the
on-board computer that controls engine and drive train.
Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) -- Malfunction Indicator Light
(Service Engine Soon, Check Engine) is a term used for the light on
the instrument panel. It is to alert the driver and/or the repair
technician that there is a problem with one or more of vehicle's
systems and may cause emissions to exceed federal standards. If the
MIL illuminates with a steady light, it indicates that a problem has
been detected and the vehicle should be serviced as soon as possible.
Under certain conditions, the dashboard light will blink or flash. This
indicates a severe problem and flashing is intended to discourage
vehicle operation. The vehicle onboard diagnostic system can not turn
the MIL off until necessary repairs are completed or the condition no
longer exists.

of the emission control system has malfunctioned.
