if you've driven one you'll realize its not pigfat at all and the convertible part is like a bonus feature you don't plan on using or enjoying but after awhile you appreciate good weather/fresh air in your face.
With that said there is no other car that pulls off hardtops as well as an s2000.
I saw an e36 for sale that was convert. with a hardtop and it was heinous.
Honestly just drive one.

Definately. They last forever and provide infinite fun. You'll have to upgrade some things if you're going to be hard on it, but that's to be said with every car.

Depends on how much you're paying. Really all you want is a strong motor and ok (per f body standards) interior. You buy those things for the motor essentially. Just recently got out of mine. Full bolt ons, stalled auto ls1. Fun car for sure but lacks in certain areas.

Meh I got 19-20mpg in my street ported RX7 when hypermilling it, and gas is cheap and only looks to go cheaper.

And spare parts are cheap compared to other cars of its performance.
Nothing gives the feeling of driving one except like a Viper I guess; car's fucking mad.
