How much longer before it'll be acceptable to own this?
It already is
When and who decided it was unacceptable to own a Crown Victoria?

If it makes anyone feel better, I know Rob got fucked on a trip to Ebisu. I saw him there, and the "company" he (and a bunch of other guys) paid for an all inclusive "drift experience", got there, and the "company" owners took the fuck off and stranded them all there. I've been waiting for Rob to make any sort of comment on that since it happened.
>50 grand (europoor money) for a rebadged renault with a 250bhp 1.8L 4-cyclinder and an automatic tranmission
What the FUCK were they smoking and where do I get some? This has to be the most retarded car reveal by a big manufacturer in quite some time. For reference a GT86 is half the price over here.
well, at least it's supposed to be RWD, right? I thought frogs didn't even know what that is.
does this mean Alpine is back in rallying though? With the Fiat 124 Abarth in Group R-GT and maybe this, could we see a return of GT-styled/full-sized cars to the WRC?

>With the Fiat 124 Abarth in Group R-GT and maybe this, could we see a return of GT-styled/full-sized cars to the WRC?
God please yes
Give me a quick rund/o/wn on the tesla brand and convince me not to buy a electric car.
Why do people here claim that pic related is not the best car in za warudo?
It's the perfect daily driver. Why not?
>>16788316
Range anxiety is a real thing, if you use some of the higher performance modes for a launch you seriously drain the battery, you're kind of a beta tester and the general concensus is the interior is a bit of a mess, the tesla' center console is touchscreen only for some retarded reason, the door handles are super fragile, you are associated with Tesla fan boys. Tesla is doing a good thing for the electric car's image but electric cars aren't for everyone. Also you'll be infuriate day how slowly most people accelerate, even more than you might be annoyed now.
Also /o/ enjoys having fun with their cars and the Tesla'a weight works against it there, and the batteries REALLY don't like aggressive driving.

Because you can't drive over 60 miles without having to charge it. This is shortened by sitting in traffic. Also
>Buying a car that cannot complete Nurburgring
I cant explain why, but something about the 2 door 1990-98 Suzuki Sidekick deeply touches me.
It makes me feel a peculiar longing towards an impossible feeling, an unachievable want. Its like I'm touched by the infinite sublime when I see its unique aesthetic. No other car has ever made me feel this way, although a few paintings and sculptures have come close I think.
You know what I mean, bros?
>>16788101
w..where does it touch you??
>>16788108
in my soul, man. you know what I meant.

I've noticed a sudden interest in Trackers/Sidekicks on /o/ lately. I certainly hope it doesn't become a meme car. I quite fancy them unironically too.
What are some properly comfy YouTube pages related to cars/engines?

vehicle virgins and regular car reviews
the rest is for normies
I just look up old topgear episodes for nostalgia and actually good entertainment.
my dick is diamonds
Dad is away so I have to park his shitbox twice a week
>fly by wire throttle
>fucking nissan cvt
>shit brakes
Not only am I used to a manual, I'm not used to his throttle at all.
you put your foot down a bit and then like a second later you get power...for all of 5s, then it cucks you and shifts up.
My problem is I'm actually going too fast in this thing. To compensate for the lag my brain just makes me floor it to get to city speeds, but I usually end up going faster at like 30ish mph because of the fucking CVT
I got a speeding ticket in the mail for doing 35 in a school zone the other day.
The worst part are the brakes, they do nothing unless you really push, and then the car jolts to a stop.
I was passing a crossing the other day with a cop car on the other side, a woman decided to cross as I was passing and I did the legal thing, stop.
But since the car looked like I was stopping from fucking max speed the cop gave me this half angry look because Freud was right and I looked at the cop car in terror when I stopped.
To make matters worse I sold my civic shitbox since I needed travel money for grad school interview costs, so I'm stuck using this thing for a class I have to take every weekend, I'll be on the highway. Doesn't help that I'm not really the most experienced driver.
Help, how do I not get arrested in this thing?
Wow what the fuck is wrong with you retards? So many of you have major issues driving an automatic shitbox it makes me wonder if you should be driving at all
>>16788032
This, why do you clowns need a fucking college education to drive a car?
nigga i was drifting golf carts and motocrossing a pee-wee Yamaha since i was 11.
Fucking city slickers.
Why doesn't anyone here like Audi?

What, in your opinion, is "bolt-on"-tier modding? What isn't?
whats in a name huh, dumbass
>>16787727
My LS swap is also bolted on I guess
>>16787716
Anything that can be bolted right up to the car without any need for welding or fabrication.
>shitty pod/"cold air" intakes
>Bigger/different turbo
>Exhaust components pre-fabricated
>Suspension
>Fuel and ignition system components
>etc
That's not to say most of these things won't benefit from or require a tune to get the most out of them, but for the most part this is about right.
GOD MACHINE

http://jalopnik.com/porsche-will-replace-the-engines-in-every-single-911-gt-1545737774
only affects 700 cars and the problem is being solved immediately.
It is a bit fucked up though, paul walker fanboys going to get emotional over this

It's a common problem with Porches.
>>16787504
It's not a common problem and you would know that if you actually took the time to read the article, instead of posting a synopsis with some arguments you post a link to spread your butthurt... I'm not a porsche fanboy at all, but apparently your mum's new boyfriend drives one.
Do you think the most in the car, /o/?
exactly the opposite, it frees my mind hence why I am an /o/tist.
I overthing everything everywhere except for in the car and while I am shitposting on /o/.
It frees my mind.
>>16787356
sometimes yes, it does free my mind. but say if i'm on a freeway for a while i start thinking about things, or in traffic.
I remain in my calm zone, it hits me like a hammer as soon as I get on my driveway.
I didn't cry for like 2 years untill like a week ago, when i got home from a sollicitation and got denied, broke down as soon as i parked the car, shed a tear on my steering wheel.
hope the salt doesn't damage the leather.
Introducing the all new Mercedes Tesla Mustang AMG GT

>>16787253
>>16787259
hmm yees, glorious MB doing it again, you can't deny the sexyness of their CLS design.
im getting older though, cars look way too tacky in general. First design was spot on for me.
the A7 or 6-series gran coupe can't compete.
Is it possible to make these pieces of shit look good?
>>16787122
Fun fact: New Edge Mustangs are technically still SN95 Mustangs.... which are still based on the Fox platform of the 1970's.
>>16787127
I know and yet people get maf when I say it's a fox body
>>16787127
I thought the SN95 was the New Edge. Now I'm fucking confused.
