literally an LED powered by the cigarette lighter, if anything, it makes fuel economy worse by using power and existing in the car

Works great if you also use an aftermarket muffler bearing

My shitty supra developed new shitty issues.
It doesn't like revving under load. If I floor it it feels like I hit the rev limiter around 3500rpm. I thought it was the plugs so I replaced them but it's still there. Where should I go next? Injectors? Pump?
I'm gonna plug another AFM in and see if anything changes tomorrow but I'm trying to build a plan of attack.

Injectors first
why is my bucket in half?
Where can I get a half bucket like that I want one for organizing stuff in the back of my FJ.
>>16872348
Walmart, Home Depot, Lowe's take your pick
>>16872340
youre thinking about it wrong. you have two buckets that are Siamese twins.
I got a choice to make /o/
I have a shitty 1997 318ti automatic with 220k miles on it. Leaks oil and the window regulators are shot. The drivers side door doesn't open from the outside either. Other than that it still runs and drives fine. Has a little rust over the rear wheel wells, pic related.
I got an offer to trade it for a 1992 mercedes 190e 2.6 with 170,000 miles. Apparently the only thing wrong with the benz is the drivers fender is a little fucked and it's missing the bezels and turn signal corner lenses around the headlight.
I'm wanting to build either car to be fast. If I kept my benz I wouldn't stick with the puny 1.9 liter in it, I'd swap in a s52 or LSx or something. There are kits for LSX into the e36 cars, but it would be pricey. I'd have to swap it to a t56 too and I really have a lazy left foot.
If I got the benz I would turbo it. I hear the m103 engine is great for boost and can handle 600 horsepower on the stock bottom end. One thing though is it has a shitty jket injection system so it would be like 3 grand just to switch all that shit over to efi with a standalone.
Which one would you chose? I haven't driven the benz yet.
Here is a pic of the benz.
>In b4 sell the bmw and get a 3k civic.
>>16872176
You're obviously poor or you wouldn't start with such shit cars. Save your money for something good. The Benz has probably been crashed so it's worthless.
>>16872176
You ever thought about saving all that money and instead buy a car that isn't older than you are?
Can we start one of these? Ive seen patch threads on /out/ on /k/ on /fa/ hell, even on /pol/.
>inb4 cant put a patch on a engine.
Put one on you work overalls or cap.
Come on friend/o/s
Can't put a patch on a window

Hi /o/ I've put off buying a car for the past 4 years now I'm 20 and I seriously need one. Would getting a Toyota MR2 be too much for an inexperienced driver? I live in a very dry place with little to no rain so I don't expect to be experiencing much snap oversteer as is warned.
>>16871790
>MR2
Can you actually find a clean one?
>>16871790
what is your experience with driving cars before? Terrible idea to be buying some 10 to 20 year old cars when you have no idea how to tell if stuff like the clutch or turbocharger is in good shape or not.
Just buy something like a mazda3 or civic with 50K miles or less for now (probably $5K in your area?) so there won't be any work or expenses you have to do right away beyond fluid changes and maybe brakes. Then buy something cooler afterwards when you're over 25 for that insurance cut-off.
If you knew more about cars already then go ahead, but you wouldn't be asking this question if you did.
>>16871790
All depends on your budget OP
If it's like 3k, then get an early 2000's manual civic. They are fun to drive and stupidly reliable.
This is coming from someone who tried to buy a fun first car and wishes they got a civic
Hey /o/ can you redpill me on the 2011 Jeep Patriot?
My mechanic offered to sell it to my father for $6,400 and he is wants me to have it.
It's the 5 speed manual version so it's desirable I guess.

Thats because every automatic transmission in chryslers blow up
>>16871180
Fuck no. Get a civic for 3k. It's a better car no matter the mileage. Post your local Craigslist.
Any toyota corolla 2006 model owners here ?
Battery died about to buy a new one which you recommend me?
who cares as long as it provides enough cold cranking current
Optima Yellowtop. Other batteries won't fit. Toyota makes them, just ask for a Toyota Optima Yellowtop Corolla battery at AutoZone.
>>16871103
Thanks alot but i'm not from the U.S.
And there no optima batterys here so advice me on second best?
>out of alignment, to keep it straight I have to drive with my hands on the 8-2 position
>mfw
>ac doesnt work
actually kinda pissed about this, i assumed it worked since it was a 2013, but i bought it when it was below zero so i couldn't test it
>mfw drive a 28 year old miata
>mfw everyone tells me i need an alignment
>mfw change all the suspension components
>mfw people tell me i definitely need an alignment
>mfw car drives dead straight, hasn't had an alignment in the entire 60,000 miles i have owned it and probably hasnt had one ever
alignments are scams my friend.
car once rear-ended another car, frame damage was repaired, steering wheel is just the slightest bit off center and i feel a little bit of pulling to the right when braking, could be caused by uneven tireware making the problem worse.
I can live with it, but like they say, it is never the same car.
>inb4 buying a car with frame damage; was a hand me down
How big of a mistake would it be to chose a 2017 Camaro V6 1le for 32k over a Spartan 16 SS for 38k??
Either one is a mistake
>>16871024
this
get a 3k civic
>>16871028

What car is this
ford t twin turbo with nigga wheels and a personal toilet in the back

When will they fix that front bumper?
Looking to buy one of these trucks. Need something that's capable in various weather conditions, can tow for cross-country moving, and is reliable. I really like these trucks, but want to know what people's experiences are with them. Also wondering what a fair price would be for a private party sale, 150K miles, very good condition. I don't want to spend more than 9K.
As a side note, how would a 4Runner compare? 1996-2002?
From what I've read on here they are generally viewed as perhaps the best truck in its age and size if it has been properly taken care off - but that they are generally priced a bit over what you'd call the "real value"
>>16870630
Unfortunately it will be kind of hard for finding 150k miles for 9k for either the Tundra/Tacoma or a 4Runner. If you do find one though, make sure the frame isn't rusted to hell. Also look into Nissan Xterras and Frontiers.
>>16870630
Tacomas and tundras are godlike. If it's under 200,000 and under 9k then I'd 100% pick one up if it's a v6 Tacoma or a v8 tundra. I drove the shit out of a 07 tundra all across the Continental US and had no problems at all. As for 4runners that gen is pretty good, it doesn't suffer from the rust issue that plagued 90's Toyota trucks and first and second gen 4runners. Plus the third gen doesn't have the 3.Slow like mine does.
