I screenwrite for a hobby, and I could use some input.
A character in my crime screenplay is a drug-runner/getaway driver. I'm thinking about having him drive in a retired black Crown Vic PI, since they're durable, go fast, look like cop cars to cops, and are cheap (he destroys the cars to get rid of evidence after a while).
Is this pretty autistic, or reasonable sounding? What could you see being used otherwise?

Sounds reasonable. Only downside is how much attention a vic gathers. You could also use the other Panther platform cars, like the towncar as those would draw significantly less attention but are otherwise the same car

They're not fast, so I'd say no. Those things can be outrun by a minivan

I would use a 2011+ Chevrolet Caprice PPV.
They were ONLY sold to police fleets.
They's based on the same Zeta platform as the 2010-2015 Chevrolet Camaro, and use a 6.0L L77 V8.
Aftermarket parts for a Camaro SS will work on them which makes them fantastic sleepers.

Okay, so I have a 2008 dodge avenger R/T and I want to make the car louder because i'm pretty unimpressed with how it sounds with stock exhaust.
Is there a way to make the car louder for free/cheap?
The exhaust looks to be just one tube right from the headers to the muffler too so i cant even remove the muffer & cat without taking the whole thing off.
