What car is this? Thanks
>>16961580
kind of hard to tell without seeing the headlights or the taillights...
evo in fucked up resolution
>>16961590
ur not a true car enthusiast then, retard
Im trying to buy this civic for $1500. the issues are that it needs a ac belt and the mileage, its 201,000. is that too many miles on it or should i still consider it. Honda owners please reply.
>>16961544
90s civic 200k miles should be expected. It'll still run ok but expect to find a lot of parts that need replacing.
>>16961544
With a couple of simple mods, this thing can smoke anything. So go for it.
>>16961544
Check that the timing belt has been done recently. Also listen for valve clicking. Valve clicking noises isn't bad but for a newbie a timing belt change will be difficult. A timing belt could run 600-1200 depending on mechanic. I would not pay more than a grand on a good day if everything else was perfect.
Do you plan on owning a 2008-2010 snek at some point if your life?
>>16961492
They're at least 60 grand here, because lol yurop. I doubt I'll ever be in a position where I can blow 60 grand on a car.
>>16961492
>viper
nope
cringelord doug demurno ruined them for me.
no longer a cool car now.
>>16961506
>caring so much about literally who you gimp your own life
How does /o/ feel about these:
https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Goodyear&tireModel=Eagle+F1+Asymmetric+2&partnum=245YR7F1A2V2OLD&vehicleSearch=false&fromCompare1=yes
$66 for max performance summers is not a bad deal at all.
https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Dunlop&tireModel=Direzza+ZII+Star+Spec&partnum=86HR4Z2SS&vehicleSearch=true&fromCompare1=yes&autoMake=Toyota&autoYear=1988&autoModel=MR2&autoModClar=
I'd like to know a little about these for track or daily use.
Looking at getting myself a set of these this summer, either in 31x10.5 or 32x11.5. Any experiences?
>>16961302
I've heard decent things about those
>>16961311
Track - probably quite good, its an AA-traction rated tire
Daily - it'll give you plenty of dry grip, but expect mediocre performance in the wet and some noise
>>16961302
Michelins are the best.
I have a 91 240sx KA24DET. (yes its boosted)
>Car starts fine
>drives fine (if I dont stomp on it and drive like a normal human bean)
>Romp on it
>Starts misfiring like a bitch
The only thing I've replaced are the spark plugs, what do you guys think?
Fuel starvation?
>>16961217
no my afr's are good and I can hear the fuel popping when I romp on it misfiring.
Are you using stock boost?
You're probably fuel starving it if you aren't at stock levels
bf makes fun of me for liking dodge neons, right
"boy oh boy SRT 4s are so cute and fun, i kinda am considering looking around the area to see if there's any nice ones"
"that's the dumbest idea don't do that"
why hate on this car??? i don't understand??? it's so cute and arguably comparable to current cars despite being at the latest an 05?
Eh...
It was one of their better attempts. Not horrible.
A bone stock one is best obviously, but good luck finding one.
Also
>rear windows are manual
>fronts are electric
>>16960346
They have a lot of modification potential. If you want to go fast in a four door, turbocharged compact, this car would be good for you.
Beat it faggot.
>failing the drive test at 24 y/o
>twice
>>16960273
Get a moped.
No license required
>>16960273
how?
>take driving test at age 18
>fail because yellow light turns red in the intersection
They're assholes, OP. Just keep at it.
what does /o/ think of this
>>16960197
so if you're riding alone and hit the brakes, wouldn't you pivot over the "front" wheels?
more pics of the hottie on back pls
Have you ever been so fed up with defensive driving that you've just given up and hope someone hits you because of their mistake?
Every fucking week I take this left hand turn onto a 3 lane road.
The interior(blue) lane is left turn only, however the lane they turn into will eventually come to an intersection where that lane is another left turn only.
So, every smart driver will take the right lane(green) because you won't have to merge over if you want to continue straight down this major road.
However, idiots see a line of cars turning left in the green lane and think "pssssh, fuck that I'll get in this empty blue lane".
The light turns green and everyone turns left, except for the fact the people who got into the blue lane now see they chose poorly, and take the Yellow turn radius(cutting across one or more lanes).
Now back to defensive driving, I am sick of hard braking, or swerving into the far lane to avoid being hit, and wonder if I should just hold my ground and let their wallet or ego take the hit when they either are forced to jerk left in panic, or hit me and pay for the damage.
>>16960150
>hoping to cause an accident
Kill you are self
>>16960157
the only way to make this stop is to make idiots realize who is in the wrong.
I'm perfectly ok with dicking around in a rental while my cars in the shop since I'm not paying for it.
>>16960172
No, causing accidents won't fix anything, literally jump off a bridge
Look how happy this mother fucker is to go racing. Show me a more happy race car
Protip: you cant
>>16960115
Looking at a 07 altima with 178k on it for 6000. Is this a reliable car in your oppinon
no.
>>16960081
Yeah totally
>moron
>>16960087
not really a need to call him a moron
however try to look at a honda civic or accord or a toyota camry or corolla. theyre reliable and since youre looking at altimas theyre in the same category as that. they can be reliable but if its a black dude selling it then dip
Is the BMW 7 E38 the best BMW ever build? I have a 740i since 5 years and drove over 200.000km with him. The car has now 310.000km on the clock and its still running like on the first day. Any one else here driving a E38?
oh man i wish
i'm too much of a pansy to be stuck with one though, obv parts are going to be expensive
>>16960037
Junkyard parts are cheap
Here in France the young driver are obliged to drive Renault Clio, Twingo, 206 and all shit 4 cylinder <90hp but when i see the advice for young driver in America I was surprised when I see than you propose V8 and "GTI" like Mercedes E430, Mustang, Corvette, Crown Victoria, Prelude, Golf GTI, Civic Si...
PS: Sorry for my bad english

The Absolute Madman Compact SUV from Mercedes
Specs -
>AMG 4.0-litre V8 engine with 350 kW (476 hp) or 375 kW (510 hp)
Would you rather buy this or a C63 AMG?
>Everything's the same from a GLC except to some AMG modifications.
-air spring suspension with adaptive adjustable damping
-4MATIC+ all-wheel drive with fully variable torque distribution, a rear-axle limited-slip differential and a high-performance braking system.
>>16959646
They are the only vehicles in their segment to be powered by an eight-cylinder biturbo engine
>as wide as an S-Class
>compact
I want the crossover meme to end. Also the GLC coupe shape is the most retarded fucking shit since the BMW X6.
And I'd rather have a C-Class wagon.
>>16959657
The AMG 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine puts out 350 kW (476 hp) or 375 kW (510 hp) with a max. torque of 650 or 700 Nm.
The top speed is 250 km/h (electronically limited).
Are these good cars?
As a daily, I'd say yes
>>16959582
meh. reliable, boring. enjoy your cuckbox.
>>16959621
>cuckbox
Do you even know what cuck means, retard? I have a feeling 99% of the cuckposters on this site are underage little shits
