What does /mu/ think of Vulfpeck?
they're pretty fun, drummer is groovy too
>>68857426
Glad you like them. I thought I was about to get a typical cynical remark
This is my favorite of theirs:

Uhh...
You're at a Gamestop and this guy slaps your gf's ass, what do you do /mu/?
post on /mu/ about it
implying that's something he'd ever do
Hed probably just rape both of us.
Tfw he was too smart to live

post recent tracks and get bullied
Only three days of work for a snoozer of a bait thread.
I enjoyed this album... starting to get into early folk it seems.
>>68857424
I really like this song, It's the only Lana Del Rey song I like. It's really catchy despite the title and theme
Holy shit, this is amazing.
Is there a name for this sort of upbeat, shoegazey type stuff?
My favorite songs were Never Return, You're blessed, Collapse, and White Rune. They kind of reminded me of Loveless but with kind of a hardcore punk influence.
Is there any more of this stuff? I've checked out the rest of Iceage's discography and it's very good but in a vastly different way.
It's noise rock man. Big Black, the list goes on
>>68857282
>shoegazey
LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
>>68857282
lightning bolt
ITT: the first track is the only good track
Not the only good track, but the only AMAZING track, the only one that lived up to the hype others had laid upon this record
The rest of the album goes downhill so fast. I really don't get why people like this album so much
Remember when this board just couldn't shut up about this album?
>>68857116
Nope
>>68857116
yeah
>>68857116
I mean, you're exaggerating quite a bit, but yeah. Its a good album. I'm going to give it another listen, thanks OP. Haven't listened to it in a year.
Pic unrelated

When it is made by any band associated with Glue Man and the Salty Sandwich Saviors.
It's time for a guitar music Soundcloud thread.
Felt triggered by this article today, let's prove it wrong: http://consequenceofsound.net/2016/11/where-have-all-the-indie-rock-bands-gone/
Plot twist: post a band/artist that you know of and genuinely r8 8/8 to create some discussion on how rock music can be brought back from the abyss.

Love this band from Glasgow, Scotland. Great marriage between some twangy-crunch, guessing from a strat and throwing in a bit of synth. Bass pops out nice and fresh and solid drumming all round for a really fun song.

Love the batman sample, makes you sit up and listen. Demo quality is demo quality but I like the synchronisation between the drums and the band in the chorus. Joint breaks always sounds proper tight on stage and helps keep everyone together. nice.
What's on his playlist?
>>68856990
Springsteen & Lady Gaga

He's actually posted his playlist before, lemme see if I can find it
Something along the lines of niggers singing about barely waking up this morning and complaining about their situation. Also, this 100%

So after having this thing for over 8 years, it finally shit the bed. What are some good quality mp3s players these day, ( that aren't just phones)? What does /mu/ use?
I use my fucking phone cause it's 2016.
They don't exist anymore. Most people use their phones, and FiiO holds a monopoly over those who don't.
>>68856738
Fiio, the superior choice.
Well, /mu/?
I do find Billy Pepper and the Pepperpots a curious band, and I'm not sure exactly the birthname of the guy who acted as if her were Paul. Here's an example of his/their work..

Wow, two photos of the exact same person
It was a dumb as fuck theory in the 60's and it still is.
The chances of finding a guy to replace him that not only looked exactly like him, but sounded exactly like him, had the same ridiculous vocal range, the same ability as an instrumentalist, and the same incredible knack for songwriting/melody is essentially impossible.
