Pink Floyd know how to play instruments. ;)
>>68844801
you're right
I'm not sure what the consensus on this record is but I've listened to it a few times through and I have to say, it's quite overrated. First, the themes are super inconsistent. Brad goes from singing "loves what I got" to talking about shoving his gun down the throat of the guy that stole his girlfriend and later in Get Ready he says he will shoot the police that show up to arrest him for smoking weed. The next issue with this record is the squeaky rhythm guitar that is in so many songs (Wrong Way, Burritos, Get Ready, Jailhouse, Caress Me Down, etc). I understand that's a part of ska but it's like the same tempo in each track.
This isn't a bad record though. I I just think it's overrated. Even though it has problems I really like April 29th 1992, Pawn Shop, and What I Got. I haven't heard their other albums. Are they any better?
>>68844789
>This isn't a bad record though
It really isn't, I mean it's good but it's not great. the only reason people hold it in such high regard is cause Brad overdosed and died before it even came out.
Makes me wonder how far Sublime would have gone and how much their sound would have changed if not for Brads death.
>>68844924
I agree completely. Whenever an artist dies everybody has to buy their records and say they were their biggest fan. It's just when I see this album rated as amongst the best of the nineties I get confused and feel like I'm missing something.
WELL LIFE IS
hey kpop general, how does it feel knowing your idol industry will never make anything as good as this?
But they have numerous times
Nakata is still awesome though but I fear he's running out of steam.
new Kyary when tho ._.
>>68844683
>Nakata is still awesome though but I fear he's running out of steam.
The last good thing he did was Tokyo Highway. The rest of that album was very mediocre.
>Perfume
just as bad as kpop, maybe worse
Why are noise and power electronics fags insane and insecure? Whenever you attack their shitty """music""" they spazz out, calling you ignorant.
Noise is not even music. Why do people enjoy it? It's a good thing /noise/ generals vanished. This shit must be discussed on /b/.

>>68844211
It's not a good album. But it has a few good songs (Drive, Cobain, Girls). Lil Peep has a cool aesthetic as well as potential to actually drop some good music. If he had better producers and focused a bit more on the quality of his lyrics he could get big.
>>68844336
