You can pretend to be stupid all you want, but the average person doesn't care for variety and just wants familiarity out of the music they listen to

Imo just listening to noise at home on your computer, or on your phone, etc doesn't do it justice. Making it yourself or going to live shows is much more enjoyable.

playing guitar and learning how to record music on my first laptop as a teenager changed my life too. Provided me my greatest outlet tool, and is still the clearest way for me to express myself.

I got my first guitar 11 years ago but I never got any good at it.
