You know, Chvrches are actually very good. Anyone else shares this opinion?
>>69623371
Me.
>>69623371
I do. But man in 2013 they were much better and Lauren was cuter. I don't really like their new stuff along with new image of riot grrrl Lauren.
>>69623574
Their new stuff isn't radically different than before and Lauren is still cute.
after years of thought i finally figured out what this little fuck plagarized to make this track
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4JN5Zf_LPE
it's literally just paulstretched music for 18 musicians
listen for yourself
proof once again that marcel foley cannot make music and just steals
(too bad hes not a meme here anymore. if you don't remember, this kid used to spam his music on /mu/ [though he was primarily a meme for bigger reasons] and i revealed that his second album was just avalon by sigur ros, slowed down, but i could never figure out this one - until today)
Marcelposting was fun.
good job desu OP

Report it to Steve Reich's label, ECM Records.
Maybe they'll sue. Most likely they will send a Cease & Desist letter at the very least.

Are they the greatest band to have ever existed? They pretty much defined an entire generation.
>inb4 muh entry level
Fuck off edgelords lmao
>>69623075
pretty much, yeah. without them nothing from scream bloody gore to homecoming would exist
Oasis tbph
fuck you and your hippie shitfest, filthy babyboomer trash
We all agree this is better than Lemonade, right?
that's not saying much
Yeah it was way more authentic
Lars Ulrich's favourite band are Oasis
Stop making threads
Metallica should all go off the wagon, start hard drinking again, and record one final album with a budget of only $50,000 total.
They owe me that much.
>>69623024
>$50,000
That's their weekly group therapy budget
Childhood is when you idolise Oasis
Adolescence is when you prefer Blur
Adulthood is when you realise Pulp were the best.
And then you finally ascend out of britpop and go listen to Madchester and all the shoegaze albums Lush and The Verve made.
>>69622898
Pulp were one of the only really good Britpop bands, and when you think about it they weren't really a Britpop band
>>69622931
And then you kill yourself because you realize shoegaze is shit and you evolved into some kind of monster.
Thus the progression is complete.
what's worse: shit taste or boring taste?
What's the difference?
>>69622831
boring taste
>>69622903
good point
would rather listen to boring music than shit music
>There was a time when we were kings. One magical summer in the mid 90's. We had it all.
If you weren't British in the 90s you basically missed one the peak of human culture. Its always looking back from now on.
>>69622762
>using a pic of Oasis post-00s
lad
and yeah 90s england was the peak of human culture, not because of oasis, but because of rave, hardcore, jungle, drum and bass, and garage

>tfw turned 15 in 1997

>tfw first ever gig was Oasis on Be Here Now tour
>tfw lost my virginity on the day I bought All Around The World single
>tfw Flashbax was playing in my head after I shot my first euphoric load
>tfw in musical ecstasy 24/7 thanks to Oasis, Manics, OCS, Verve, Blur, Prodigy, Cast, Stereophonics

Ween
What album should I get my dad for Christmas? I've been thinking about King Gizzard's Nonagon Infinity, but I'm not sure if it wouldn't be too crazy for him. Maybe FlyLo's You're Dead? Or Kamasi Washington? He's your typical dadrocker, although even in that he's a bit casual. He likes Deep Purple and Budgie. Also Diana Krall. I would like to expand his horizons a bit.
What abour you /mu/? What albums are you gifting your family and friends for Christmas?
>>69622541
My dad really fucking loved that Whitney album that came out this year after I showed it to him.
>>69622571
Whitney who, brah?
he might like tame impala if he's gay
>song name is the album name is the band name
Bad Company, from the album Bad Company, by the band Bad Company.

>>69622517

Albums where the first song isn't a slow boring intro. Don't turn this into a first song best song thread pls
